Eliminate the loam shelf under the shock and make internal cable guides. Seat tube angle 1* steeper, but that’s just preference, not actually better. I wouldn’t mind the HA being a tad steeper too, but the industry disagrees. Want more travel? Get a smuggler. Want it racier? Go pick from a hundred different choices. They all had matching gear and bikes and were doing a lot of photography and video. I doubt they would be doing all that missing a key rider, plus there were already 4 elites there...

Agree with others, closing the thread with no alternative is hard to wrap my head around. Alternatively, and I'm fully ready to get downvoted for this, but the "Crab" thing was getting really overplayed, I'm ready for that to chill out. I’d bet intense was less than 15% of the funding for that team. Joe put a lot into developing axxess or whatever his program is. Tons of other sponsors, many that aren’t super mainstream, which usually means a bit more budget. They were in intense cause Joe helped develope that bike and didn’t wanna let it go as soon as the bike was actually good. If intense did have a team this year it would take them getting a lot of funding from outside sponsors. Possible but seems unlikely. They seem intent with just going after the NA market and...

After listening to the b practice podcast, i was actually kind of surprised how much results still play into contract negotiations. I know they are paid to be racers, but like Dak said, no one really remembers who got sixth at the last race. Also, no one is really selling downhill bikes, so very few people are being like that bike was fast I’m buying that.
