Big fan of bolt on drop outs for rear center options, every frame needs them. Tweak the front end a bit to allow for a 29" front wheel and that's the latest Spire crab shell as well. The dropouts could easily allow for swapping between 27.5 and 29 rear wheels which is the main thing the current Spire lacks.

I can only speak on the Northeast US. But being back into DH for 11 years..My 2 cents. Plattekill back in the late 90's-Mid 2000's was insane. Brought factory riders from all over the world to try it out. They for years now just do ski and weddings in the summer. Mtn. Creek does 4 days a week till late June and then 7 days a week as the waterpark is open till labor day. . Thunder Mountain bike park a.k.a. Berkshire East in MA must be doing OK. They are always packed on the weekends, keep building fun stuff, invest in infrastructure, etc. Being close to both Boston and NYC must be working fine for them. IIRC they just acquired a stake in Burke mtn VT, too.

I wonder if rogue racing is not continuing with him. Considering the success of the other riders, Thibault and his “rumors” may very well be a hinderance in getting sponsors. And rogue can probably get more points than thibault by hiring a up and coming or mid pack veteran female elite. Which seems unlikely if he is on the team. Yeah if you can’t honor your contracts you probably should be banned for a period of time. Nobody but yt is to blame for all of their problems. I tend to doubt Marcus will be in the position to relaunch the mob anytime soon anyways. But any league should try to get rid of sponsors who have proven to both been financially irresponsible and act in bad faith towards their riders.

When you are paying your own way to the races and supporting yourself why would you promote a brand not helping you? They are still riding that frame. How did YT spoil them? By paying them a salary? Kolb said in the interview that he had higher paying offers and went on YT for the long term. That didn’t happen so why promote them?

AON riders are going outside (green) and everyone else is either going inside single double (blue) or outside to inside (green to blue). Joe Breeden was the only one to pull a massive double to single on the inside (red). It was insane.
