8/18/2024 9:19pm Just the front triangle is TFR , rear triangle is the Union colour scheme. Might have just needed a replacement front end in a hurry?

8/18/2024 6:32am -I would love to see Vergier to Commencal, he would be back on the top in now time but they can't afford both him and Aumery I bet. -Kolb to YT makes sense but I bet his results go to crap after he leaves Atherton -Brosnan to Trek seems likely, maybe he can help them develop the bike like he did with Canyon and they can bring back the session to the podium more often. -Vermette has a long-term deal with Framworks so he will stay put I bet -Shaw to Norco makes complete sense, I bet Luca will do...

8/15/2024 1:42pm My problem with OChain is that its not expensive enough. It needs an electronic lockout that connects to my ANT+ power meter to know when I'm pedalling and when I'm coasting. Or maybe a built in accelerometer so it knows if I'm pointed uphill or downhill. Whatever makes it more expensive.

8/5/2024 2:41pm More likely it’s not a big enough change from the Evo and people don’t see the value in selling their current bike for an abysmal sum and then paying Spesh rrp prices.

8/4/2024 1:00pm Less stress on the shock & better for heavier riders are primary reasons. Also packaging. They seem to have plenty of room for any normal stroke shock out there. A lot of times when you see long travel from a shorter stroke shock it’s because there wasn’t any room for something longer (water bottle, complex linkage, dropper clearance etc)

8/4/2024 12:54pm Curious what y'all know about the new Specialized tires with tire dampening technology. Is that like a mud conditions tire for wet terrain? Or is it a dry tire, but it dampens the dirt so it becomes wet and tacky?

8/2/2024 8:10am Well spotted. Funnily enough I noticed that the flight attendant version of the Vivid Coil is available in almost every metric size, yes even down to 37.5 mm stroke. I now have a weird urge to put one on a 100 mm race bike. SID-compatible Smashpot when?

8/2/2024 8:09am Surely the production model will be a carbon monocoque? Either way I can say for certain that it won't have a 190×40 mm shock! I think that guy's just playing funny buggers.

7/28/2024 6:58am The issue is that Transmission "knowing" the time to shift is marketing BS. There is no hardware to allow the drivetrain to know when to shift. Transmission puts enough pressure on the chain to shift at a shift ramp/ gate, but not enough pressure to force a shift before the chain reaches ramp/gate. The drivetrain knows nothing. This is why it's highly unlikely there will ever be a cable activated Transmission derailleur. With direct cable shifting, there is no way to prevent forcing a shift. The key to the shifting performance of transmission is completely reliant on controlling the limited...

7/18/2024 9:03pm Screw Europe-based big teams, they need to adapt to a less European-centric racing not to get more funding. UCI didn't wait for Kiwis and American racers to get more funding to be able to travel across the word. The goal is not to allow Europeans to travel easily but to give a fair chance to all racers all across the globe..
