6/1/2026 10:10am Luca has to be one of the oldest first wins in World Cup downhill in a very long time right?. Race age 30+ for a first win sounds rare

5/15/2026 9:48am Based on the contracts and which events are scheduled it looks like the last 3 of the year will again be Soldier Hollow, Whistler, and Lake Placid. Which means they didn't fix the issue in the schedule that will happen this year with trucks unable to make it from Whistler to Lake Placid in time.

5/12/2026 6:21pm Might be one in the minority here, but I always like having a bit narrower field of view for videos like this. Having the nearly 180 degree vertical fov and extreme fish eye affect because of it is off putting to me, and part of the reason I hate 360 degree cameras being used for pov shots. Great riding and love the follow cam for the stage though!

5/8/2026 4:48am For some other stats: Amaury's podium with a crash in South Korea was insane. From what can be easily found, it seems like the last time that happened was Sam Hill in Val Di Sole, 2008. Does anyone know of any other times this happened? Maybe Rachel Atherton did it at some point since she used to win by crazy margins 10-15 years ago?

5/8/2026 4:45am Yes, MSA was Jackson on DHX2 coil, LP was LMS on DHX2 coil, then before that, AP4 won Lenzerheide on a Vivid Air.

5/8/2026 4:44am I can’t remember if it was Charlie Cs wet track did video or somewhere else, but evidently WYN’s crash was on a jump further down the track. Downtime post race with Neko and company indicated the same. I thought it was the big jump everyone was casing as well this whole time, but I guess it’s further down.

5/4/2026 3:14pm It wouldn't be. Those little electric pumps are not exactly light and mounting one on the rim like that would throw the balance of the wheel completely off. That balance is super important, especially at this level of racing. It's just a piece of foam to protect the valve stem from rock strikes since there was so much loose rock on the track. You could do a pump like that built into the hub, that wouldn't throw the balance of the wheel off.

5/4/2026 7:38am Since Ronan is currently injured why not invite him to commentate using his ratboy impression. Hell invite ratboy too. Nobody would understand much but it would still be an improvement.

5/2/2026 11:05am I’m not sure where I heard it but apparently Gwin and Bruni were not even doing that jump in practice. Not sure if that’s true but it would be a case of “can’t beat experience”. Enough years on the WC circuit to know that the jump would either have to change or be removed from the track so they never risked anything on it. Shame it wasn’t closed sooner, especially knowing it was placed near one of the most windy sections.

5/2/2026 10:55am Well he is the champ for his country and has an actual physical disability verses just a guy pulling a bit of a “look at me”. Again I’m not even mad the hardtail guy is there. I just think he should’ve borrowed a buddy’s bike and gave it an actual go.

5/1/2026 9:10am If you have instagram, watch the pov from asa’s run on GoPros page. It was way closer than it seemed on camera, and if he pulled off any later, asa was definitely gonna t-bone him.
