I'm curious how it'd work to filter out the stale taste of that one beer I regretfully poured in my pack 3 years ago

This came through my inbox this morning, and I figured at least a few water pack yielding individuals would find it interesting/practical. The Ai voice is also too much 😂 Kickstarter HERE

I know there's already a bunch of info on it, but looks like Ritchie Rude was racing on the new Fox USD fork at the Squamish Enduro on the weekend.

My Float X lasted a whole 2 days before it was blown up and leaking. Also shipped with more volume spacers than the manual suggested it could fit, which was perplexing. I switched it out for a DHX2 and haven't looked back. I don't believe the new frame is different at all from the last, besides paint colors. My 'previous' raw TR11 has the chain stay adjustment and headset cups as well.

The new TR11 leverage curve is basically the same. It’s still extremely progressive. The Float X was an odd choice, but at the time, the other Fox air shock was failing if you looked at it funny. Although I don’t know why they wouldn’t have just gone with a coil shock. Maybe the Float X is an underrated shock. I’ve heard from a lot of people that you can actually get it to perform really well with the right tune.

Jordie's comments were very interesting. It wasn't all positive. He was very clear there is a use case for the fork, but it's not what the majority is going to be looking for. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A_ZfB-Ixsqg

I think Transition only recently published the numbers and the graph with the refresh. I remember looking for this info back when the TR-11 came out and was surprised it wasn't available directly from them like for their other bikes.

41%!? Holy no bottom out cow batman. Its a different convex type curve (as opposed to the concave or linear progression stuff I'm used to riding). As close as it gets to linear off the top then starts diving down hard. http://www.avalanchedownhillracing.com/Bike%20set%20ups/2022%20TR11%20V…

I just want a world cup level race in the Mountain West. Lucky that this year we have the Monster Energy DH at Solitude. Gonna race that one!

They closed yesterday so I'd guess the digging starts soon. Basically all of the snow is only on the trails where they made snow and stockpiled it.

Having spent several years frequenting the different venues on the DH and EWS circuit I found MSA and Snowshoe to be more the exception than the rule. Hop on google maps and have a look at where most of the European rounds are hosted. Leogang has limited lodging and is basically a gravel parking lot that just appears along the side of road; Val di Sole is only slightly better but most of the accommodations are closed during the summer and there's very little in terms of accommodation and dining on site; Lenzerheide requires almost everyone to be bussed in...

Snowshoe is a great venue. Horrible location for teams to get to MSA or other events. Lots of driving, flying and logistics. There is no winner here. Snowshoe is/was amazing. White Face will be? Who knows. Hopefully it works out. It will at least be scenic with fall in the adirondacks.

the U.S. intense team is on "regular" m16s (for now). Axess Intense will be on gearboxes at the world cups.
