4/3/2025 11:36pm Literally went away from Reverbs cause I hated that play and losing what felt like a cm or two when I sat down on it, and now they’re advertising it as a feature lmao. We’re riding on suspension bikes but now we need suspension in our seat post too? No thanks.

4/3/2025 11:34pm I really love these projects, especially because they always prove that "retro" colourways still look great on modern frames. Every time, they make me check what the current colourways are because surely I just don't remember how good the modern colours are and no every time the retro colourway wins. Oh and RM should build that alloy Pipedream bike with the linkage plates.

4/3/2025 11:34pm And since I know everyone here freakin' loves purple anodized parts and spending $10k+ on bikes, Yeti released its 40th Anniversary ASR - https://www.vitalmtb.com/news/press-release/yeti-releases-40th-annivers… It does look pretty BALLER

4/3/2025 10:44pm Industrial 3D printers fill the print chamber with nitrogen while printing. Titanium also needs inert gas atmosphere when 3d printing. The one at work we use has a built in nitrogen generator.

4/2/2025 10:07pm It's probably a Cali-Centric problem, because they put 1/4"-1/2" granite aggregate on all the fire roads around here. You get rock chips from CLIMBS around here if you're not a total squid. And if you have a problem with a raw aluminum mtb frame, that sounds like a very serious personal problem. You should probably seek professional help with that one🫡

4/2/2025 10:05pm California and the west coast has long been known for having trail access issues. The implementation of e-bikes have increasingly complicated matters in recent years. Our trail advocacy organizations have fought long and hard for more access by building relationships and trust with land owners. Specialized had long been a big proponent of trail access with programs such as Soil Searching until they recently axed the program due to budget cuts. Now allowing e-mountain bikes to go 28mph on our local trail networks will lose the trust of current partners and kill the possibility of opening up new land to...

4/2/2025 11:15am What do you mean baby a long travel rig? Have you seen what material gravity race bikes have been made from for the last........10 years? I've seen more catastrophically broken alloy bikes in that time, and Pivot/Santa Cruz customers just plain don't want Aluminium anyway

4/2/2025 11:14am And yet entirely in keeping with the overall industry ethos. My biggest initial reservation on ebikes was around their potential implications for access. Rules vary a lot and in their quest for sales I can't recall any company providing any sort of guidance on potential "ethics". I recall one manufacturer taking a fleet of Ebikes on a dealer demo past a "no motors" sign in Whistler..... The implication that users will self police themselves is naive at best and disingenuous at worst...
