i think it was kicked it off in a littermag "online supplement" which is what i did before going to decline. was used for a photo or two taken in the "greater colorado area." driving to angel fire via i-25, Trinidad is the last stop before the border and Raton, NM, so figured if trinidad was used, front range downhillers at the time may find it plausible. it seemed fitting to resurrect the name for the fairclough POV (holy crap, 10 years ago). not sure if we ever referenced it at decline, but we could have if a colorado pic...

Bro, the Enhanced Freckle Distribution Analysis (EFDA) will not leave this thread. I'm not even telling my real life riding buddies. It was an embarrassing chapter in my Friday afternoon work procrastination.

The new mondraker team is going to be fine. they have good suspensions (fox), good tires (maxxis), good geometry (proto bike has adjustment), lots of team support and staff. They have a race engineer and I’m sure they can modify the bike if needed. if the bikes antisquat is slightly off that is not going to ruin someone’s career.

Refreshingly SMART, not strange. The last thing the industry needs right now is somebody making a product that already exists in overabundance just because they can. Why waste any time, effort, and resources on making a DJ frame when you can source it as part of the deal with Spesh and get paid for riding it instead. We should applaud Neko's focus on what's essential here and actually providing some value to the market (the DH bike, in other words), otherwise they'll just turn into the 1547th "by riders for riders" company churning out generic flat pedals and handlebars...

If humans are already good at building the same blue flow trail everywhere, think about how much better AI will be at it! SO MUCH BLUE FLOW

When doing development you’re splitting hairs- typically looking for tiny improvements. the time of day and rider fatigue plays a huge factor. Suspension feels terrible first run after lunch with a sandwich still bouncing around in your stomach. Then a few runs later fatigue sets in and everything feels crappy. very hard to test A/B/A setups with similar conditions, fatigue levels etc. A poorly timed flat tire can ruin a day of testing. You run out of time to do the repeats and get frazzled etc.

Just get some cascade parts on your bike, itll be great.
