It is strange. I'm going to guess shimano electronic drivetrains or mechanical transmission. Since transition is all rockshox for suspension, the fact that they are only showing shimano drivetrains on the regulator makes me think they are going to be shimano based upgrades. It would be a weird move to provide the initial supply with shimano deore/xt and then slide sram into the DMs and provide sram based build kits. That being said, transition likes to keep it weird, so anything is possible.

Heard similar things, also heard for the recently released Transition ebikes there's limited options due to unreleased components which will be out very soon. Dealer said there's going to upgrade kits on offer!? Must be something pretty special if they're going to that extent. Not looking to buy one but as far as ebikes go they look great in person.

Something I missed earlier, but I saw it was discussed on the german mtb-news forum. The pedals on Cornelius bike, look awfully similar to the pedals Outlier mtb sells. Just without the visible "axle" and in intends color scheme. So, probably another product they're working on. Nice to see them branch out and make more products. Looks similar in design

Slight derail: IMO the Escape Collective is doing a bang-up job w/ the subscription model; for $99/year you get an incredible amount of content (mostly road/gravel focused atm) in multiple formats. I originally joined for Dave Rome's stuff (I'm a bit of a tool nerd) but have gradually started diving into the rest of their work and it's excellent. ON top of that, not having ads makes SUCH a difference; they're so ubiquitous I think I don't really notice them but I do, and being able read a long-form article without ads competing for my attention is delightful. /fin
