The PR on that deal kinda had me thinking that they "investment " by the factory into the brand might have based on Factor owing them money..

Factor, as someone who knows multiple people who do bussiness with the factory that they use(which is not surprisingly,now one of their “investors”), got out over their skis trying to grow, ordered too much crap they couldn’t move, etc. Everyone i know in road and cx who was sponsored by Factor last year had their support rolled back mid summer. Factor was kinda a startup by an experienced one-person design shop, so hopefully homey gets paid well. Unlike some of the other brands that factory builds for, Factor wasn’t newly aquired by private equity during the pandemic(Pinarello by LVMH, LVMH...

3/11/2025 2:54pm I believe the reason helmet companies no longer do manufacturer-made mounts on the top of helmets is safety/liability. Adding something to the top of the helmet can drastically change its safety performance, and I bet the legal team said no more. BTW I just use a glue on go pro mount and attach whatever light I want.

They got acquired by Fox Factory – aka Fox Racing Shox – not Fox the apparel brand. Bike industry companies under the Fox Factory umbrella are Fox (suspension), Marzocchi, Race Face, Easton, Lizard Skins, and Ride Concepts. Fox apparel (aka "Fox Head") is under the umbrella of Revelyst, who also own Bell, Giro, Camelbak, Blackburn, and Quietkat.

I have heard through the crab vine that mech trans & Motive brakes will be released at the end of the month. New Rockshox wireless dropper will one up Wolf Tooth's 242mm drop length and with no hydraulics at all, just air Just speculation though, crabs are quite difficult to understand
