Small nerd correction: what Orbea is doing is really smart because they can make the same (or more) number of SKUs but reduce their CAPEX (mold investments & tooling) significantly. Hypothetically, they can make 10 DH models and 10 Enduro models (lots of SKUs) but from a "single" mold investment and different metal links (reduced CAPEX). This is very challenging for Orbea because they have to essentially plan 2 different bikes in the same mold set up. Glad to hear it! Cool product and would have been a bummer if it didn't work out. Still want to try out STFU against all the other pedal kickback/chain slap devices I'm trying. One of those situations where if the $40 option could get you 80% of the benefit of the $400 option, that would be pretty sweet for most riders.

Lots of talk about which rider and which bike is in contention for the 100k, but this is a for more interesting topic to me: durability and mechanical longevity at the sharpest end. How will this stuff hold up after being smashy smashed by pro riders for a race week, and a full season. Very interesting that her Nicolai’s belt seems to have been impervious to the conditions on Saturday.
