A back-to-back series of World Cup Downhill concludes with a bike-abuser's favorite venue, Val di Sole, Italy! The infamous Black Snake track is historically unforgiving and known to break bodies and bikes. The DH race is on Saturday this week with XC on Sunday, so get ready for the action. Fantasy should open up on Wednesday mid-day. Official Val di Sole race book PDF is here - https://ucimtbworldseries.com/content/22832/01J067E5T2TMJZ37XBNTCWDJDY… Live timing is here (not active at time of this posting - https://prod.chronorace.be/angular/results.html#/uci/event/20240614_mtb Weather on Friday and Saturday looks great while Thursday looks wet in the morning...a great way to start the...

6/11/2024 4:13am He seemed not only stoked on the team when he started but he said multiple times he was really looking forward to learning from Loci and Finn. Seems like None of them have much to say about their teammates these days.

I think in his head, Jordan thought his run might have been a podium finish when he crossed the line, lifted the bike above the head and all. It would be sobering to think that's competitive, then watch 17 more dudes beat your time in short order. He's young and has more wins in him, imagine winning your first race, riding that wave then never really been back up there for 18 months. Would be hard mentally. It still baffles me Finn plays No.2 in that team, I mean it's pretty public. He's a big dog now, let him EAT!

Zink starts his own frame brand, gets dropped mid season.* *it's a joke I wish him the best and hope it's something I would be interested in buying.

The crew from Monster pro dh and trail builders at Mountain Creek knocked this one out of the park. The course was soooooo fun to ride while being deceptively difficult to go fast on. 2 for 2 for the Pro Downhill Series. Clay and crew are doing a bang up job. #usdh

5/23/2024 4:26am Neko said in a podcast (sorry don't remember which one) that Angel wasn't getting along with the bike (in Poland) and that they changed the shock bolt location (drilled a new hole in the frame) to get it feeling the way Angel wanted it. So he goes from not finishing in Fort Bill to a top 10 in Poland. The...

On the EWS "complaint", a top 20 EWS female rider would stomp a fitness mud hole in most people. If an elite athlete has no time for water between climbs, that's not trivial. That is not weakness. And the "season" isn't sneaking up on anybody. Promoter crammed too much of one thing in and not enough of another.

Kathy actually left SC the year or two prior to Greg leaving, I believe. At least she had stepped away from managing the Syndicate.

I'll just assume I'm the smartest guy in the room and the 80+ riders, families, friends, teams, supporters and fans who got told you can't play Sunday....packed up & went home to watch the "live" stream of a measly 30 guys. If anyone in the media world has contacts with the venue, would love to know if vendor sales/local economy took a hit compared to prior years. My criticisms...not a fan of Puffy Spice or the guy in booth not named Gwin. And....they thought we were idiots again piping in "shreddy" sounds during the quiet bits of the track to...

Does anyone else feel like we're on the cusp of everything getting a touch more aero? I assume it's a product of the racing times being so tight. My guess is we'll see frame covers before long if the aero mentality picks up momentum. For me personally, I'd hate to see it go this way. I don't care about how people look but racing results influenced by how well someone can tuck or who slippery their clothes or front triangle are would be lame. Perhaps tracks should get slower with more tech or something. I don't know.
