I believe it will be a qualifier (of all riders, Probably top ranked riders first). Then they will do a last chance qualifier of remaining riders instead of semifinals. The qualifier will probably have similar points to the later redbull era with most the points going to the top few riders and 1-15ish for the rest of the 20. There will be no points (towards championship or entry requirements) for winning lcqs. i Imagine they will have some type of highlights/interview package encompassing both races for now. With potentially some live streaming from the finish corral. Then a 30 rider...

Some of our favorites can’t qualify for the 60 man semi. The clock doesn’t lie. Maybe the continental / feeder series will be better because of it.

Maybe teams will consolidate together to fit in the limited spots?

Some good, some bad, and a lot of question marks. The biggest unknown and worry for me is fast riders that are unknown or don’t get on one of the 20 ranked teams having a chance to prove their worth at WCs. Hopefully the combination of a continental series and national team selections will keep those who have the chops to race, racing.

These videos are so valuable to the state of #USDH. Thank you everyone involved! My quick notes watching: - Commentator crew and production is dialed, and so hyped to have our dog Griz chopping it up in the booth. - Sweet 'fun facts' during race runs. So polished and pro. - I wish the track was longer, but damn, does it make for intense racing. - The UCI rule about fastest time of day juniors wearing elite sleeve is wack IMO. I'd like to still see national sleeves in each category at World Cups. - Anna is hauling this year...

I'm all for gnarly XC trails. I see some cool steep sections but the man-made stuff is lame. It's not mountain biking to me. It's more interesting to have sections with different natural lines, part of the sport is to be creative and interpret the terrain not to be channeled into man-made features that are actually not that difficult. it's probably ridable by mot riders. I'd rather see a big line that only a few very best could ride and that might save 5 seconds every lap.. Here I'm not sure the tech differentiates the very best ( but it...

Would have loved a Jess win, and not just because it would have been a heater for my fantasy. Sadly it sounds like seasons done. Not sure extent of injury. Maples hit that extra gear which would of course be a great result. And gotta give credit to what Lachy is doing. Not sure what happened to his VDS? Just off the pace or mechanical/crash?
