4/14/2026 11:08pm Dunno why but researching something else brought me back to this thread. Its still not clear if people are putting the bumper in the wrong place that then allows the stanchion to hit the frame. If so, thats on them. If the stock fox bumper is moving then put a short length of inner tube over the stanchion first. That...

3/30/2026 10:38am I cant say this is my main appeal coming from riding specialized since 2019. I don't want a current gen specialized with superfat downtube and disgusting battery flap. I don't want a bosch bike with a 600 as it's too small. I don't want a bosch bike with an 800 as again, superfat downtube. Additionally i don't want a bosch...

3/30/2026 10:29am This would be great if true. I think a lot of the mainstream appeal of the DJI bikes is because of common sense features like fast charge, USBC port, good top tube display, etc. Being able to choose if you want the slight weight penalty of a removable battery or not is another step in that direction. It's a breath of fresh air how DJI is approaching this like a consumer electronics company and not a bike industry company.

3/16/2026 6:16am Maybe. I hope she can keep it going into the WC season. She's a better rider than her results have indicated the last couple of years.

3/16/2026 6:16am So strange how Jenna can't seem to translate her Crankworx performances to WC racing ( I know it's a different field, but IIRC she was slower than riders like Lou and Sasha all season last year). 🤷♂️

3/16/2026 6:14am I’m sure femenists everywhere are looking forward to wbd’s doc on mtbing on your period. I’m sure it will be pretty tasteful tbh. I also think both redbull in the past and eso currently has done a good job promoting the ladies as athletes. But I think extra prize money or a prize from a sponsor for the winner, or 30 women in finals would be a much better way to celebrate these athletes than changing the time of the race and self promotion.

3/12/2026 2:14pm All I wish for is Bosch to slim down their batteries so Bosch-equipped bikes looked as sharp as Avinox bikes, but kept everything else that's already great about the Bosch system. I don't need nor want more power as I already burn through batteries being a heavy rider even when using Eco mode frequently, but e-bikes with huge downtubes just look generationally outdated from a design perspective even if they are just as good if not better than Avinox-equipped bikes from a performance and tech perspective.

3/12/2026 2:11pm I'd think that if they released one or two more generations of duds, they'll find themselves losing a bunch of market share. Their target demographic won't stay ignorant forever.

3/10/2026 1:12am I think this is what we’re seeing, he’s the poster boy so it’s a bit of virtue signalling… but it’s also got a twinge of “shouting at clouds” about it, mostly because it’s US/NA focused. Bosch is definitely considering higher speed limitations in certain markets where there’s no governance or legislation to limit it. On latest CX motors only. Bosch must be nervous about losing market share. The market swing to Avinox will be greater than 90% in some brands which were small players and will now be “volume movers” as consumers chase the latest koolaid. The biggest concern in...

3/4/2026 12:37am However you feel about e-bikes, it's a bit rich to ask the public to align with your personal opinion on a technology that was and remains full of potential that you helped promote from the onset, while being associated with that technology. Free-market capitalism started this current situation and while it's reasonable to think that some guard rails are required, I don't think they should be enacted to serve a very specific demographic within cycling.

3/2/2026 12:30am i rather the 12a charger than a door. i'm currently planning my own version of the haute route from verbier through most of the valais without touching the rhone valley once this summer. by relying to recharge with the quick charger during lunch to 80% to do > 3000m of climbing/day. all with just a 16l backpack. wouldn't be possible with a bosch as the battery is way bigger and you'd need a 2nd charger to get both back to 100% during the night as they still are at 4a charging rate max. just another feature the chinese got them...
