7/9/2024 11:12am Local dealer said new Status is next, 2 models a 140mm and a 170mm. The 170mm is going to be dual crown compatible. Apparently, will be out in about 3 weeks. Pretty sure both will allow mechanical shifting too 😉

7/9/2024 11:12am Wouldnt be surprised to see 2 different builds of the enduro come, one that can be raced and the other like current model... a smasher.

7/8/2024 9:05pm Based on my experience with it the lower headset cup is too small to give you more than 1 or 2 mm in reach adjustment. Even with a normal 56mm headset you need use an external cup on the bottom for the lower bearing to sit outside the head tube with a tapered fork.

7/9/2024 11:11am Fingers crossed. Cant even get a frame on the US website now. Just the comp and the expert. Maybe udh variant will come out since with the stumpjumper 15 it seems specialized wants to move towards using transmission more. Hopefully they do something with the head tube while they are at it.

7/8/2024 8:57pm I heard from a source a UDH update is coming at some point, but thats it for a while. Last I spoke to a local spesh dealer they said they hadnt heard any whisper about a new Enduro, and the same dealer mentioned the new Stumpy 6 months in advance... I too had noticed the stock on the website slowly running down, no Sworks builds in Australia for a fair few months and only 2 models and the sworks frame in 1 size. I'm not sure what they are getting at, fingers crossed something is gunna sneak up on us...

7/8/2024 8:06pm Anybody think that the new Specialized Enduro will come out sooner than expected? I was just looking at their site and noticed they are down to 2 models left. Almost sold out of the current gen enduro

6/25/2024 1:58pm The launch video basically breaks every rule of modern advertising and I love it. "Don't sell the steak, sell the sizzle." "Don't talk about the product." "Customers don't care about specs, they care about experiences." It's just homie talking about the hub specs for 3 minutes, instead of campfire sunset B-roll and talking about the meaning of life with Christopher Walken. So much BS in the marketplace that they're able to be distinct by just being honest engineers who make better products. The narrator looks and sounds like he may have been the engineer who designed it (my brother's an...

6/25/2024 1:55pm As a former shop mechanic who regularly had to deal with "I tried to fix it myself" clusterfucks, I think you're underestimating how many people overestimate their mechanical competency.

6/25/2024 11:32am 457 reach in a s2/small and a 63.25 degree head angle in high. That is a burly bike.

6/25/2024 11:17am I keep hearing great things about Conti tires, excited to finally try them out soon. Does anyone have any experience with the difference between conti Soft and Super Soft casings? I'm going to be spending a decent chunk of time in Sea to Sky area soon and I'm wondering if Soft will be "fine" for grip when it gets a touch wet. The super soft style tires I've ran in the past (Maxgrip and Schwalbies offering) are amazing for their brief life, but just simply fall apart too quickly to be anything more than a race tire for me.

6/25/2024 11:17am Everyone keeps saying that Kryptotal R rolls better than their competitors, haven't had the opportunity to ride them yet myself.

6/24/2024 3:14pm Is the double Kryptotal fine for winching yourself up a hill on a daily? Im on assegai and dhr2 now and thinking to try something different.

6/24/2024 3:13pm Th Cannibal is an excellent tire. Love the way they turn and feel at speed. Casing is hella stout and rubber may be softer than normal T9(?). The tire wears really fast and rolls really slow when pedaling. I would run them much more often but the super sticky T9+tall knobs+stiff casing really make them roll noticeably slower than something like a Kryptotal or Assegai. I'm quite fit, but don't think I could ever run double Cannibals for a daily driver. I want to--but think the rolling resistance would be just too much to get over.

6/24/2024 3:12pm https://www.moonmenbikes.com/moonriser-ti-handlebar Only thing i can think for that specific is a bit expensive but full custom TI so you can probably get the 8 back and upsweep and whatever rise you want up to about 100mm

6/24/2024 3:10pm If anyone know where to find a 8 back- and 8 upsweep bar with 50 rise or more, hit me up! Liked the Newmen bar with 8/8 sweep, but it was only avialable with 40 rise.

6/19/2024 11:28am New warden is a mullet and 170mm travel, with a max of 180mm in the rear. Also there's a new delirium coming too. Manitou forks are so far ahead of the competition. Can't recommend them enough.

6/19/2024 11:11am New Warden for sure. I wouldn't be surprised t see a little more change from the previous version than we've seen on the other gen. 6 frames.
