9/9/2024 10:45am Im not sure if its the death of the x2. They also use the dhx on the downhill bike instead of the dhx2. Seems they like the way they can tune those shocks to the bike better than the x2 and dhx2

Frameworks Enduro rig is officially official and open to the public. Death knell of the X2? They didn't even try to sell it with one and just went straight float x or vivid.

Pedalling wise it's a 6 bar. Braking wise it's an 8 bar. There are 2 bars connecting the main triangle and the rear axle. Rear axle path is defined by a 6bar linkage. 6+2 defines the movement/rotation of the brake link. This is the exact reason why split pivots are single pivot pedalling wise but 4 bar braking wise.

I have been extremely humbled. I recently got my first mountain bike. I’ve always ridden moto and offroad type racing. (Dirtbikes) I’ve skated, skied. I’ve always looked at MTB and thought how much I wanted to do it but never really had the chance. I finally got my first MTB the other day and went on a nice mountain trail for my first time. Few thoughts... 1) I haven't tested that many carbon rims considering how many are on the market these days, but I would happily pay for Santa Cruz Reserves again. I've had them so long I'm actually kind of scared to ride them. 2) If I was a top tier racer I might be more prone to alloy rims for flat protection. 3) In the same vein, I may go alloy for forgiveness, but we're really splitting hairs here. There are so many ways to play with wheel flex, most of which is poorly understood and poorly utilized I'm not sure...

Back in June, I banged up a rim to the point that the spokes wouldn’t stay tight, and they sent me a whole new wheel within a week.

Ealier this month there was also a yeti sb165 with a color matched spring. His was a TI spring from HOSN TI. In case you dont want to deal with painting it
