They definitely stay true. If your worried about breaking them consider reserves for the lifetime warranty. If you break one they will send you a new wheel, not just a rim. 30 hd carbons with dt swiss 350 6 bolt hubs are 1600 but for the lifetime warranty it could be worth the little bit extra over some others.

I want to know more about those single wall ENVE rims! They might not be single wall, just slim, but they sure look like it.

And without some of the issues found on a coil fork. I have a z1 coil with a grip 2 in it and its great on stuff like that but i do find it sometimes easy to blow through the travel a bit more than i would like

I went from a large D3 that fit very well to a pretty snug large RPC, but I've been told the pads pack down a little in the tight spots with time. It's not uncomfortable at all, but it's very snug and secure. That's actually something I like about it. The D3 was comfy but it felt like there was a millimeter of padding between me and the foam, whereas the new Fox helmet has pretty significant pads all around my noggin.

Yes. Looks like the cnc head tube and bb. Also the new rear triangle. The only thing that im not sure about is the float x instead of the coil shock. I was expecting a dhx2 but guess ill be giving the float x a try

From my experience they fit similar to TLD, but about half a size off. I wear a large Fox for my V3 RS, my Mainframe, and my old Rampage Pro Carbon. My TLD Stage is an XL/XXL with the smallest pads instead of a M/L. I always felt like I was between sizes on the D3, but I haven’t tried the D4

FYI I decided to sell my Intend Trinity set. You can find it on the big red website. After much consideration I really enjoy the linear power delivery of the Maximas so I will be keeping those.

Just got a new Fox Rampage Pro Carbon and I'm super impressed. It's light, comfy, surprisingly well ventilated, and light. I'm happy that full faces are getting bigger in general. I'm no scientist, but I have done an egg drop experiment in middle school and I know that a bigger helmet has more room for the squishy parts that protect your brain. Compared to my old D2's and D3's it's just a much bigger bubble around my brain. It's also very, very expensive, so that sucks, but it's a very cool product. Coming off a nine year old D3 so...

I dont have much input on fox but i just got my first DH helmet. I was using mostly a bell super dh but dented it on a tree and just got the full 10 and it feels great. If it doesnt fit it doesnt fit but i found that even pedaling in it wasnt bad and in some ways...

I think mechanical t-type is inevitable. There is a schematic for frames on the UDH website that includes a cable stop. Posted a pic of it months ago. I can try to find it again when I get back to my computer.

Yep. I watched an interview with the guy who built this bike, and it was an idea based on the type of riding in his area. A lot of rolling terrain with some climbing here and there. A lot more time in the saddle apparently. As a really tall person, I absolutely love steeper seat angles. Most of my riding is peddling up to go down.

Thats fair but from what i understand it depends on the type of riding too. ETT change helps with seated position so it might be great for cross country or light trail. I dont think reach is useless though cause ETT doesnt effect much once your standing up however reach does. For downhill or enduro i think reach would be...

Does it actually slacken the head tube angle? Looks to me like it just adjusts the seat tube back or forward changing STA and Top tube length. Could help a bit with fit i guess but even then it doesnt look like it could effect reach at all so im struggling to see how this is actually useful

I'd like to bring your attention to the Red site where 2 guys are having a 70+ post argument over the specification (or lack of therein) of mineral oil........we have a long way to go.

I've been away for a while, so not checking regularly for a couple weeks, so I spent a couple hours trying to catch up, prolly 12 or so pages the content and tone of comments has changed drastically in the last year. I can only assume with increased users and engagement, which has brought along with it, a much more negative and judgy tone. I was drawn to this comment section for the rumours and innovation (and spy shots, and great info from the likes or TEAMROBOT, Cascade, Dave, and many others) but I find myself turned off by the...

Youd probably be better off with a newer hard tail if your looking to keep it inexpensive. Something using more current parts so its easier to find replacements if you ever need. I went the cheap full sus route once and it didnt go as planned. The rear suspension sucked anyway.
