New Decoy is a bit of a let down to me. I totally understand the desire to fill the gap between SL and full power, but the middle ground leads to a bike that's ok for most things and not great at any one thing. Either blow peoples minds and go full DH sled with that motor/battery set up, or all mountain and make it closer to 40lbs. For one the Propain Sresh is full power at the same weight as the Decoy SN. Also, there's always a lot of mixed feedback around the quality of battery/motor manufactures but Fazua...

I think the full power, mid 40 pound big travel bikes are the future and not far off.

To add to the rumors, Does the new Stumpy being wireless only indicate that a shimano wireless drivetrain is near? Seems odd to restrict the SJ to one manufacturer only for drivetrain. Specialized likely knows more than we do.

105 Nm and 120 Nm with boost, 800w battery at around 20 kg bike. It's kind of insane. What were the rest doing?

I think they know what sells to OEMs (not a bunch of crusty forum nerds). pretty sure OG wireless Eagle sold like 10x what they anticipated originally.

I'd rather take a ~1lb weight penalty for a swappable battery than pile a range extender (that is surely over 1lb) on an already not that light SL™ bike where the range extender doesn't even double your range like a swappable battery does. I daily drove a Sight VLT carbon with the 630wh integrated battery for a few years and would've gladly made this tradeoff to have longer days and easier serviceability.

My thoughts were on too much grease as I've seen a few people lost of that before. It makes me want to bring all new suspension in for a tear down now before I ride it though, and that's just kinda sad tbh. You shouldn't have to worry about the quality of assembly on a +$1000 suspension part.

At 54 years old with pretty significant arthritis in my hands and elbows, I found two things that helped me. PNW Range Bar with 30mm rise and 10° back sweep. I tried a couple different bars with the standard 8° back sweep, and I feel like the Range bar really improves my riding comfort. PNW Loam XL Grips with 34mm...

Another what happened to the hard-line natural Welsh gnarlyness comment. It looks like something where you'd see Evel Knievel thumbs up getting loaded into an ambulance.

People interested in mtb gear performance and mtb athlete performance have never had easier access to data than we do now. But I think the insights it's possible to draw from those data are pretty limited by some members of the comment section's refusal to think about inconsistency. Yeah, it's super exciting when the top 5 are sitting on the same second. No one wants to take the excitement away, but you may also here for what can be learned and maybe applied to another rider or the next race. So it's not to be a wet blanket on the...

The other site is reporting that the original owners of Kona have bought the company back from Kent Outdoors. I'd love to know what they sold/bought back for. Nice to see a good news story in the current climate.
