The only issue would be the rubber- EPDM for DOT fluid, buna for mineral oil.

Code levers could probably run mineral oil just fine. Worst case they'd have to change material of some of the rubber parts. So they could be mineral and look the same.

"all 4 strings don't support the weight equally". I would argue that they do. The outer strings have each 1/3 of the pre-tension force of the middle sting, I agree here. However, when a weight is put on the table the outer strings lose their pre-tension obviously which requires a force acting in the direction opposite to the direction of the pre-tension. This force supports the weight. Another way to say it would be to state the if the outer strings would not support the weight, the structure would work without them. But it doesn't. All the strings are needed...

If your axle and cassette aren't aligned then the derailleur alignment is the least of your issues! Its a worry when someone who is a bike mechanic has no idea.

Standing on the derailleur is marketing BS. Fanatik gues tried to be more realistic (I wish the dangle would be in a way of travel). Quite impressive how much impact survived even the old AXS gen https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i3QzPxdN1e4

How can a derailleur thats aligned to the axle be out of alignment with the cassette? I feel like people are trying really hard to crap on this tech, but it seems pretty dang dialed.

From the image you shared you've highlighted two things: The valve located in the head unit is the "Base Valve". The shock shaft displaces fluid when it enters the shock body which is forced through this valve generating compression damping. The valve also features a replenishment circuit that allows the displaced fluid to freely move back into the shock body on the rebound stroke. The replenish is generally designed to not produce any rebound restriction or damping. Base Valves are generally designed to manage more of the low and mid-velocity compression damping characteristics with a fine resolution. The second item...

As a marketing professional it is standard practice to not use "the" or "a" in front of a name. Lyrik and Zeb are names. Table and chair are objects. Everyone does this. Look at Chevy and Ford. They don't use the F150 or The Silverado.

" No World Cup season is complete without Wyn Masters - both on the track and in the pits - so for 2023 there will be a major increase in his presence. Keep an eye on GT and Continental social media for details of what’s coming up on WynTV this year." Yeeeeah boyeeeee!!! :D

If they use a 3D print service, I would guess the initial cost of a single unit would be about 50%-60% the cost of using a traditional mold and layup. Making the molds is the most expensive part of carbon frames. Once the molds are made though, the process is much faster. If the frames are successful, the cost of...
My company has 3D printers worth hundreds of thousands for high resolution rapid prototyping. The thing is, rapid is days instead of weeks. Something like this is very time consuming and expensive so really only used for prototyping. Unless there are advancements in printer tech this will not likely save any time or money in a production environment.

Saw that too. Finallly! Makes we wonder if they do a rebranding, considering the changed logodesign. They also had a frame with the "classic" brandname there. So, what up GT?

The WRP and Honda gearboxes are/were literally just relocated derailleurs in a box… no extra drag. If you’re talking about pinion etc. then yes, sure

The previous sensor was a great “do it all” bike. It was a touch overbuilt for the travel bracket it was in but didn’t falter when pushed harder than it was intended to be ridden since it shared the same front triangle as the same generation force. If the new one is even just a marginal improvement on the old it’ll be a great bike for anyone looking for a predictable & relatively low maintenance bike.
