got an email about this kickstarter for an in-tire pressure gauge that connects to a garmin device called Outrider. looks interesting. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/outride/outrider-a-tire-pressure-s… "A low-cost, real-time tire pressure sensor made to improve the safety and performance of your bike's only two contacts with the ground. It fits securely inside of your tubeless tires and gives real-time pressure readings and alerts to your Garmin device via wireless transmissions."

Bosch is dropping their embargo on the new motor on Monday. Get ready for a flood of new ebike launches for product you cannot buy for another 6 months.

are the downvotes based on? cause i'm talking facts here, oh let's remember the 28gr for a udh, so at the axle, Gx vs GX t-type you have ( cassette + deralieur ) 738gr vs 936gr, so 200gr of extra unsprung weight, on a total of 219gr more for t- type, now on XO is 370gr, so the huge (100gr) weight saving on the frame are not only gone but gone right at your rear axle, nice

I know I'm late to the Scott Gambler shock heat discussion, and I know our resident experts have said shock heat isn't a big factor on performance, but... what if they put the shock inside and then decide to put part of the shock outside

Lets not fan boy too hard on these I have a V1, and V2 OneUp dropper that are not exceptions to the rule when it comes to both reliability, or standouts for OneUps customer relations. Both are known to be questionable (looking at you bushing that literally eat themselves) and any PB or NSMB review went on to claim them as the best thing since sliced bread, when PNW stuff quietly worked better, and were better to their customers. I'll reserve any opinion on these hubs for actual long term reviews. As a side note, I'm a fan of OneUp...

My zeb 29 @170 with a smashpot (50lb spring) weighs 2900g. The push fork is not heavy for what it is imo.

I know there exists a video in which Aaron Gwin says his physical strength is the only thing holding him back in going faster so I would not say that strengthy is underrated at all

Lol. If anything strength is very underrated in DH. Half the times people crash is because they crumple and lose body position when going fast. Getting stronger improves everything. You don't have to be powerlifting strong, but stronger is better

Personally from what I have seen the quality is hit and miss. If it was assembled right, performance is fine and will do most everything a Zeb or 38 can. Maybe not better, but it's something you can trust. As far as Aston goes, even when he's right he sounds like a crying baby.
