NS's six-bar Fuzz prototype made another appearance at Hardline last week, this time without an idler: (see this article from a year ago for more details)

Sounds like buddy maybe just rode a properly bled and bedded in pair of codes for the first time (with the stealth levers). Amazing how proper brake maintenance and well setup rotors/pads with straight alignment can make a world of difference.

In my humble unpolished opinion, snobbery is very often the source of dumb criticism. DVOs are more than fine, for their target. But bells and whistles are demanded by the ones who cannot differentiate LSC from HSC, or riding with wrong sag.. The DVO jade (original dh shock) its a fantastic piece of simplicity.

Rough idea of how spesh demo prototype linkage might work. Essentially a 4 bar with an additional shock linkage. Link next to bb, and chainstay, would be a different shape for packaging, but pivot locations work.

Please let's just move on from the crank drama. I'm sure both sides have learned from the experience. It's Sea Otter now; let's see some spicy tech rumor shots

It is matter of time when there will be available aftermarket adapter for non UDH frames (atleast for big players) IMO. 5DEV was teasing the new cranks design as well. They will be available after sea otter.

from the transmission PDF - " This chainring uses our T-Type design and is backwards compatible with Eagle technology (X-SYNC II)." BUT, this is only described on an e-bike chainring page. it is not mentioned on other product pages in the PDF.

Vital says in the Transmission video presentation the flattop t-type is backwards compatible. The other source was saying you will not get the claimed lifespan of components and the chain was kind of flapping on the old-gen chainring, which should be somehow occurring on the Eagle cassette too IMO. The Camo from Wolftooth seems to be the best solution or...

Works in theory, but I would not expect any usefull data from the MEMS inertial measurements units in such dynamic and noisy environment. The strain gauges could be way more precise tho

I'm just a guy, but how can you tell there's a spool valve inside a shock from a drawing of the outside of said shock? All I could tell is it uses a coil spring and has knobs on it.
