Probably my favorite part about hope hubs, and one of the reason I built wheels with them for my Madonna, being you can swap the link and get 175mm of travel I was planning on getting a dh38 and dropping the travel to 190 for racing dh this year.

they just venmo me $2.79 per deletion. it's very rare we get asked to take anything down and in 16 years of being at vital, i don't remember any leaning/pressure from brands "if you don't do X, we'll hold back from working with you." just because something was here and goes away doesn't always mean we deleted it. we delete if asked by a brand b/c someone that shouldn't have had the info/photos/videos leaked the info/photos/videos or if an NDA was clearly broken. we don't delete if a product is out in public, if someone was careless with their hiding...

"tell me you started riding within the last 5 years without telling me you started riding within the last 5 years." all joking aside, yes its an older compound. while a good compound, definitely not used as much anymore, as maxxis has since released better offerings.

The big question regarding all these new USD forks is, where are we putting the mudguard?

It isn't. Hikers aren't expecting bikes to be passing them uphill at almost 30MPH just like pedestrians aren't expecting cars to be passing them on the sidewalks.

Depends. Do you often take the cars on mixed use trails with hikers, dogs and slower cyclists?

I am personally very concerned about the ability for the user to toggle to class 3 and the higher speed cutoff. Specialized just opened a can of worms with access issues and ebikes being lumped in with electric motorbikes. Going to be interesting to see how this plays out.

Bamboo DIY bikes are fairly readily available I believe. Edit: got beaten to it!! :Edit As for Atherton I remember reading the carbon tubes are manufactured for sailing, masts, etc and import d from New Zealand? So it's just a case of cutting them to length and gluing then in. I believe manufacture of a carbon tube can be automated...

A really bad pic - But a bike reviewer posted some pics of his current test mule, and he had blurred out a seatpost and a drivetrain. The seatpost was clearly the new Rockshox dropper, so I thought that the drivetrain might be something from srammers as well. He had posted a very dark pic of the same bike just a few hours earlier. Which with a little bit of editing - Looks like this Clearly a transmission-esque rear deraillieur, with a transmission casette. Front chainring looks different from any of the wireless models, and since there are two hoses/cables...
