3/21/2026 2:44pm Nah. Top tube straight continuous to seat stays is very 2020. Now it’s all about the grasshopper. Steep down tube to low flat chainstay. And I’m all for it. Maybe your right, straight line is industrial design where grasshopper, is sex. as long as no one does steeper chainstays than top tube. 🤮

3/21/2026 2:43pm You can - depends on your desire to order small parts and do disassembly and reassembly. The kits will become available and the tech can be applied. You can look up parts kits on the tech page, though MY27 won't appear for another few weeks: tech.ridefox.com

3/21/2026 2:42pm Looks like the old gloss gypsum color with decals. Shock mount is the same (not recessed like Bronson).

3/21/2026 2:40pm It's awesome Vital is getting enough recognition that Fox decided to chime in. So far they haven't done anything but clarify a few things and answer a couple questions. @FoxFactory can you upgrade an existing gripX2 with the new mid-valve or does it require a whole new damper?

3/21/2026 2:37pm Yes. This pic was leaked pages back and clearly that bike doesn’t have a splatter paint job plus a larger 29 front wheel. I’m also seeing a straight head tube not tapered like on the bottle rocket. Plus the marketing team would flip out as cash- eee-ma isn’t freeride core lol. Here’s the tr-11 as seen here

3/21/2026 2:35pm Not specifically tied to Fox, but in general launching at Otter has lost its luster. You spend a year and tons of money developing a product. It gets shared on the media at Otter and then gets shuffled to the bottom of the page pretty quick because so many new things are coming at the same time. Launching just before Otter gives more time of consumer attention and then gets seen again at Otter. I think that trend will continue with less and less officially launched at Otter, especially for those with significant marketing budgets.

3/18/2026 8:12am I have a V1 Druid S2 and my 185mm BikeYoke is fully slammed so the cable housing bottoms out to be at the right height at full extension. Definitely a downside that longer droppers don't fit. Although that probably shouldn't matter as much on a Reya. Most people probably don't need quite as long a dropper on a light trail bike. It does seem strange to put such a large seatpost bend in a Horst link bike though.

3/18/2026 6:41am I hope Vital is doing a no holds barred Cascadia downcountry grudge match between the Spur v2 and Reya.
