Why be bummed that it isn't going HP? The current Process X is rad, fast, and comfortable to ride. I don't think adding the complication of the HP and idler would really do anything to improve it.

These look really interesting, the rods they use to guide the pads seem interesting, but does seem to require you use their pads. No info on piston sizes or lever feel though.

They do have slightly different effects, i.e. the idler reduces/cancels anti-squat permanently, while the o-chain is a chain growth buffer that doesn't interfere when you're pedalling. A universal kit might be something like a rail to adjust the idler position, maybe also some angle adjustment on the ISCG mount, and would need to be built strong enough to handle the loads. The Rulezman kit is pretty beefy as it is without any adjustment.

What patent did Lewis violate that was held by Trickstuff? I'm in no way disputing they look identical and similar, but that doesn't constitute a patent violation. Some functional aspect of the brake would've needed to be duplicated that was patented by Trickstuff, there are only so many things unique they are doing (maybe the clamp or lever pivot?). If anything the Lewis design is slightly more innovative because it allows you to rotate the cam in the lever to adjust lever progression, something the Trickstuff brakes lack (although I'd find hysterical if they duplicated). "Something looks like something" isn't...

Apparently Trickstuff let their patent lapse or there was some issue with their patent while this underwent development, not sure on the details but just a rumor I read online. I've watched the teardown video and I wouldn't go out and say its a Trickstuff carbon copy. Also not sure why you think I wouldn't buy parts from Taiwan? I'm just looking for the best product for the best price, I also just purchased the Lollipop driver set directly from 711L in Taiwan after hearing about them from the PB podcast. While I don't ethically agree with everything China does...

There are videos on insta which show the frame close-up. Looks like a de-bond, the curved section is intact and full of dirt. Hopefully no serious injuries, nightmare crash.

Regarding gearboxes, with the Pionion it's known you have to let up on the pedals to release the shift mechanism. On their end of line check in the factory apparently they shift under full power, but drive the shifting mechanism with a big motor. So the design/parts take it, you're just not strong enough with the gripshift to shift it. I think the electronic shifting mechanism improves in this. With effigear talking with the designers they used direct drive hubs in order to drive the gearbox forwards with the wheel during shifts in one of the directions to release the...

Not sure if this is the right place to share but here's a couple thoughts/rumors on random bike stuff after attending the Sedona bike fest 1. All the guys that brought their DJ and bmx bikes lost to a guy that was on a demo yeti sb135 for the bunny hop contest. It's the rider, not the bike. 2. Always wondered what gearbox bikes felt when you tried to shift underload - it doesn't shift! I was climbing a not very steep road to get back to the venue on a (demo)Zerode and was stuck in gear 4 all the...

Here you go Can folk please learn how to post from Instagram. It’s not hard and took me a few seconds to grab that still from his story. Tip: use the “post video” function for an instagram post. A generic “there’s a pic of someone riding a new bike someone on the internets” is a bit pointless.
