4/17/2024 3:33pm The reason why you can't have UDH hangers or T-Type derailleurs on an adjustable axle system, aside from the chainstay length issue (which can be managed with adding or subtracting links) is that they both require open space behind the axle to allow the hanger or the derailleur to sweep back in the event of a strike to the derailleur. It's part of their design, and frame companies are provided with clearance models to help with that design.

4/17/2024 3:28pm Man, thats a kick in the nuts. As abrasive as Leo can be, I consider him to be the primary force behind the geometry revolution of the last 10 years. As recent as 2018, the Specialized Enduro still had XC geometry. I was always curious how Pole supported all they do with boutique sales and hype. In Robs video he blames it on the post-COVID bike industry crash, but that can't be the only reason why. Did he seek a loan or line of credit to keep the doors open? Is that even possible in his jurisdiction and company size?

4/17/2024 3:25pm Why be bummed that it isn't going HP? The current Process X is rad, fast, and comfortable to ride. I don't think adding the complication of the HP and idler would really do anything to improve it.

4/17/2024 3:25pm These look really interesting, the rods they use to guide the pads seem interesting, but does seem to require you use their pads. No info on piston sizes or lever feel though.

3/26/2024 8:37pm They do have slightly different effects, i.e. the idler reduces/cancels anti-squat permanently, while the o-chain is a chain growth buffer that doesn't interfere when you're pedalling. A universal kit might be something like a rail to adjust the idler position, maybe also some angle adjustment on the ISCG mount, and would need to be built strong enough to handle the loads. The Rulezman kit is pretty beefy as it is without any adjustment.
