Can we just cut to the chase and pre-emptively ban Dougal? I thought this place was the last safe haven from his bullshit. That's an awfully confident statement from someone with little or no experience operating a company with large scale outsourced production, overseas or domestic. Care to share a factual example? Also what and who is a 'marketing type brand?' Last I checked the bike industry is collection of honest brands, riders, and designers trying their best to make products of value or improve the experience and enjoyment of other cyclists. I've sold a small handful of XTR bikes this year, and we've had a fair number of them come back with broken rings. We have near constant complaints about Shimano brakes being significantly louder than other models, and have yet to manage a consistent way to quiet them down, even after investing in a bedding machine. Shimano went proprietary for their freehub even though it was extremely obvious that they could have used HG or paid into XD. Their road 12s systems are on HG still. The new "UDH" achieves nothing. The current UDH has a shelf at the bottom...

Not bad, I allready try with float x genie and vivid air C1. With Genie I ride without bottom out token and 1 in the chamber and it’s very good, the vivid is too linear for me, I try 1 and 2 tokken but don’t work like genie. And now I ride with the new super deluxe with 0 tokken and it’s felling like genie.

Live broadcasting isn't required for success, and in my opinion gets in the way of producing quality enduro race content. I used to happily wait a few days to watch the EWS recap videos during the glory days, as others have said.

Trust me, I get it. I feel exactly the same. I'm honestly getting a bit fatigued by all this pseudo-innovation lately: 32" wheels, competing derailleur hanger standards, electronic 13 speed group sets, 1700w ebike motors, new hub standards - I neither want nor need any of it. Because at the end of the day, all of this is just going to make everything more expensive but won't make a difference to my actual day-to-day enjoyment of cycling.
