The only take away I got from this video is that Jordan Williams doesn't love the Whistler Bike Park and thinks riding the trails and jump lines would get boring after a couple days.
Does he even enjoy riding bikes? Because if you can't have fun riding WBP, what are you even doing?
just got back to room from being on hill for 5.5 hours in the cold and wet. basically rained all day with a couple of breaks. some rain was heavy. it was rad. first thing off the lift is a broken bike just sitting there LOL. slower pace of riding/action than i was expecting but super cool to see again. had been a while for me (msa 08 i think was last WC).
some riders really stood out (jackson, finn, bode burke and a few others in the main rock garden) but everyone is so freaking fast. good crowd for a generally miserable (but awesome) day weather-wise. rock garden is the place for the energy with massive cheers for big guns. should be buzzing through the weekend.
Oil Clark was the standout to me today in multiple sections! Dude was on the gassssssss!
Reece pulled some wild lines. Kasper Woolley with the finesse on the highest line in the rock section was nuts! Jackson looked fluid as always and fast.

Sweet day of spectating yesterday. Full rain gear and hiking boots were definately the right call. Buying the one ride ticket for the gondola was also a great idea. I've walked up and down the course during Crankworx, but taking the lift up and walking down the course was a treat. The sight lines from the spectator zones are great. The hiking trail got as destroyed as the race track. I saw lots of people in running shoes sliding all over the place getting really wet feet. Do yourself a favour and bring your hiking boots.The course took an absolute beating. It'll be interesting to see what it looks like now that the rain has stopped. The vibes were high in the woods!
Some quick pit snaps from this morning. It’s mixed/sun clouds so far today. I chatted with Gwinny and he said the muds getting thick on track. The sun is helping the bits in the open dry out/roll faster, but a lot of the woods is constantly evolving. Everyone seems to have the attitude of “time to see how this goes!” Going into Q1 Haha
Lot of ppl running uncut spikes. Trek running a mix of HR3 F/R, and Assegai/DHR2.

What i got from that interview was that he thinks it would be more fun if he had the time to learn how to put all the bits and pieces of trails together. I don't know what tracks he rode but maybe he's not that into jumplines and stuff.

I think everyone is reading too much into this. He's probably just a tech smasher. And smooth jump lines aren't his thing.

Conditions drying and improving rapidly as we get ready for Q2. Some big names in Q2. Crowds are amped. Good times trackside
