3/17/2026 9:58am Hey man, Charlie and company were selling IMBA SUCKS stickers and captioning videos of people smoothing concrete driveways and building slabs with smarmy comments like "IMBA trail crew building another sanctioned tech trail" like 12-15 years ago, which predates groad bikes and eebs by a solid 8 years or so. Core riders have been complaining about the proliferation of blue flow trails for at least 15 years now, but I guess the boogeyman has changed from IMBA to.... gravel bikes and 32 inch wheeled mountain bikes? If anything I can see the adoption of 32 inch bikes leading to another...

3/13/2026 12:04pm it's funny when the 32" "advantage" won't be an advantage when everyone is on one.

2/24/2026 5:16pm Fazu ride60 tq60 etc is the sweet spot. For mountain biking. This big power stuff is not good. Just get a moto and go ride moto trails.

11/7/2025 2:08pm Greeting people with "what's up assholes?" in videos is not poor attitudes. Leave Unc alone, he's honest and he works hard to spread the good word of long rear centres.

11/7/2025 2:07pm I re-read this post and couldn't understand what you were trying to say. Not to mention your response seems filled with unnecessary vitriol over someone just mentioning a persons name. Judging by your response I can only assume that you're harboring some deep seeded PTSD from him crushing you at the local beer league endubro. Which I do personally feel like that might be worth seeking some help for as it's never good to cary such such a burden mentally. All that besides, I'm glad you feel like Evil's 435 rear center is what you want in a size XL...

11/7/2025 2:06pm Aston and Cahal have their quirks but calling them mediocre riders is complete BS. Both of those guys rip. Also 435 chainstay on a modern XL mtb is a joke IMO. Especially for a frame that costs $4k.

11/7/2025 2:05pm you guys are sleeping on Specialized Butcher/Cannibals.... way cheaper and more durable than Maxxis. Been super impressed with Conti's as well. Maxxis is $151 CDN and the DHR wears out way too quick

10/27/2025 12:55pm Oh ok sweet as, so you have an issue with them following a completely normal distribution model? Were you planning on shipping it back to canada for a service every time as well? I normally wouldn't engage here but needed to clarify - The european distributors are the ones carrying shocks, parts and tools to make sure you're looked after in a reasonable time frame and the pricing is often dictated by certain things outside of their control. If that makes them too expensive for you then thats cool - you're welcome to get something locally produced if saving money...

2/20/2025 5:56pm I almost think the inverse is true for batteries and motors though. I'm not interested in an ebike but if I was the combination of rapidly evolving tech and massive depreciation (because evolving tech and bike industry...) along with mixed reliability would make me very leery.... And they're not exactly cheap either.
