What if we tried putting a small derailleur on the front cogs, may be just like 2-3 gears, then a 5-7 speed cassette on the rear with another smaller derailleur? Same ratios but better weight distribution?

I've got a bit of time on the Butcher and Eliminator on my Enduro bike and they're legit. I'm coming off of Conti Kryptos and they definitely feel more grippy, I immediately felt the difference in the radial casing as soon as I had them on, the Conti's felt almost wooden in comparison. I was concerned about the Eliminator out back being it's more of a trail bike tire but they're seriously impressive, testing them out with some hard stops on flatter loose / dusty trails I had expected them to slip and drift like my Kryptos but they just...

Why would they make the rear specific tire flimsier? I have never heard this and seem like it wouldn't make sense for a rear. When I mounted up my DH casing versions they felt about the same.
