6/30/2025 8:04am Fine if you feel that way, but I try to ask for riders opinions on the current state of the sport and also anything happening inside so people from the outside can learn more, Finns response was great and a lot people enjoyed his opinions. I interview riders who are doing well in the race, on race day my video is to tell the story of the race. I can't make a judgement on a case where no one actually knows the full story, and we never will it seems, so until then I will interview the riders who performed...

6/27/2025 1:10am If I had to guess, that zip-tie on the linkage is so people don't try to cycle the linkage because the shock doesn't work. I find it much more likely that the rear shock isn't pressurized than someone went through all the effort to make that frame but it doesn't work. It's way easier to make a bike frame (especially with that lugs-and-tubes design) than a functioning rear shock that can contain the 200psi people will cram in it. I have doubts the company will survive coming into the market with such a wide range of offerings, historically it seems...

6/22/2025 6:39am Hey, I’m Ryan Burney. I’ve been engineering bikes for 8 years, and this is a breakdown of what I’ve learned starting my own small business, Rim Saver. In this post, I’m sharing everything I’ve learned while launching a product business in the bike world. What worked, what didn’t, and what I’d do differently. If it helps even one person take the leap or avoid a mistake, it’ll be worth it. Background I made the first version of Rim Saver in college. The idea started out as a beadlock concept, then evolved into a beadlock with rim protection, then just rim...

6/22/2025 6:06am Damn, yet another automative company getting into bicycles ! Curious as to why, surely MTB is a pretty niche and not very profitable market compared to cars

6/22/2025 6:01am Haven't seen this posted anywhere. From a Japanese site. Hello, this is Kayaba Corporation. Introducing the new suspension we've developed for e-Bikes. Rough roads, wet roots, rock-strewn trails, no matter how harsh the environment, Kayaba's new e-Bike suspension gives the rider peace of mind and enables them to ride as they wish. This product is based on motorcycle suspension technology and has a design optimized for e-Bikes. By precisely controlling friction and damping force, the tires grip the trail firmly and provide high traction performance in all conditions. It uses low-friction oil seals and bushings made in Japan, and the...

6/19/2025 4:48am Absolutely horrific. Scott will love it. Can't wait for a new steerer standard to solve the issue of the taper getting in the way of the stem.

6/19/2025 4:48am I'm just spitballing here, but one of the limiting dimensions that does not help gain wheel size or suspension travel is headtube length. What if for 32" bikes, the head tube was split, in which case it only needs to house a bearing on each end, and the stem attached in between? Scott does so much integration hell already that I'd bet they'd be into this.
