1/12/2024 8:28am The distance between the main rocker pivot and the rocker-seatstay pivot looks pretty short, similar to other HP/idler Horst-ish layout bikes (Shore, Hope HB 916, etc.). So, looking like a HP/idler Optic on its way. (Can't remember if that was "confirmed" somewhere along the way)

1/12/2024 8:28am New Sight with flight attendant. I know they offer FA on a lot of their models but could be an interesting combination with a HP trail bike.

1/12/2024 7:44am Its a classic example of old dog, new tricks. Greg is likely used to a certain level of input and treatment, he is one of the all time best, and in his mind (no disrespect) he feels he has a lot to give. But then youve got Jackson, who is prolly less demanding, has much lower expectations, and is fast AF, on absolutely anything! SC got all the development they needed from Greg, and are moving on to a newer rider, who has different needs, and is prolly able to adapt more readily and quickly. Gregs prolly pissed a bit...

1/12/2024 7:41am one thing greg said after we were done recording is how stoked he was that the bike has external routing. engineers/team recognized that WC practice time is extremely limited, as we know, and if there's an issue w/ brake or derailleur needing new housing/hose, it's a long process to dismantle/install/bleed/setup with internal routing. if done in a rush, the bleed may not feel the same. norco team will have pre-bleed brakes setup and ready for fast turn-around if needed. for WC level racing, seems like a no-brainer.

1/2/2024 7:29am That’s because they’re not stupid enough yo be goaded into an argument with a pathetic child. You clearly have an issue with them so man up and deal with it in private.

1/2/2024 7:22am Youre attacking one of the nicest and most earnest industry commentators on the forum, and complaining when they defend themselves? Cascade are a true treat to have on this forum and provide lots of insights for all of us. If you have an actual issue with a product take it up privately with them, not by passive aggressively snarking on their products. Rumour related, Ride-9 rockymountain was largely useless, most of the adjustments were so damn similar, I would argue you need 4 adjustments at most, long/short CS, and low/high bb/HA adjustment, maybe a progression adjustment too (ignoring that CS...

1/2/2024 7:22am You seem to be passive aggressively attacking them, no wonder they are defensive. Man up and plainly state your issue or STFU.

1/2/2024 7:19am We actually blocked you. Because of all the other crap not the thinking something is too progressive. You’re actually the only person we’ve ever blocked. I guess you get some sort of an award or something. Not sure it’s one I’d want…

12/27/2023 6:48am A friend at the shop I used to work at says they're getting Transmission problems all the time (mostly imprecise setup and some have had the mount start 'chewing' into the frame, but no broken stays as far as I know). Seems like it's generally better suited to a high standard of frame quality and very careful setup, two things not typically associated with most mountain bikes and their riders

12/18/2023 6:02am new Michelin tyre coming out in the new year - “Wild Enduro MS” Following suit of lots of other successful tyres on the market with the 3,2,2 centre knobs and consistent side knobs looks like a mix of DH22, Assegai and Magic Mary 👌🏼 hopefully they do them in the normal wild enduro casings and not just the racing line ones which are like 1.5kg each 😂

12/11/2023 9:55am I finally opened an account because I finally found something interesting to share. Aluminum Atherton Prototype. Supposed to be there more budget friendly build. I think this was caught at the Dyfi Bike park

12/11/2023 9:53am I'm currently running a Range that I've fitted a 200mm 40 to and removed a 2.5mm stroke spacer from the shock to get ~180mm travel out back. I'd also been planning to put a WRP link on over the winter. So I've been keen to get a look at how the Supernought stacks up to it. I figured I might as well put the comparison up here for others to take a look at as well. Leverage Ratio We can see that the Range has a leverage ratio starting at 3.24 and ending at 2.47. It would be 2.87 at...
