8/29/2024 8:21am If I remember correctly, in a podcast Greg said that his deal includes after he retires, running the team, developing the bike. I would imagine he wants to have a similar role like Peaty does with Santa Cruz.

8/27/2024 8:56am Layout and exact numbers aside, there really isn’t anything that sets it apart from a Kona. Both are linkage driven single pivots so leverage ratio can be tuned independent of axle path, anti-squat, and anti-rise. But with both, like any single pivot, once you pick pivot placement, axle path, anti-squat, and anti-rise are set in stone. Exact shape of the leverage curve might vary a little for better or worse with either. With a linkage like what’s on Konas, it’s harder to get off in the weeds you tuning leverage curve, but how much you can tune a leverage curve...

8/27/2024 8:55am I've been considering a steel full suspension frame from a small builder for my next FS bike. It's been a long time since I've been so intrigued by a bike as I am that Apogee.

8/26/2024 11:03am There is nothing wrong with Specialized selling direct online. It's pretty crummy to delay dealer orders when the same bike is available online. Thats just crapping on the dealer network.

8/26/2024 11:03am Heavy rumours of an updated rail with the gen 5 bosch.(carbon & alloy) (maybe release of full gen 4 rail in both carbon & alloy) & the gen 4 rail is really good but not made in alloy sadely. I've also heard of a session & fuel exe update, being the exe getting the bigger TQ battery that the slash+ has Slash 25' colour ways about to be released... so i assume that.

8/26/2024 11:00am This x100. Multiple month lead times for shops ordering. 3 day delivery if you order directly off the website.......and you collect from the store who can't get you one for 4 months. And people ask 'why are specialized hated so much'.

8/26/2024 10:59am Local shop says allocations are stupid, and Spech is holding them for themselves. He's gotten 2, and had to make phone calls for the second one for a customer. 3-4 month estimated delivery even though a consumer can order online.

8/26/2024 10:57am More likely it’s not a big enough change from the Evo and people don’t see the value in selling their current bike for an abysmal sum and then paying Spesh rrp prices.

8/23/2024 9:56am Nooooo. Please don't tell me that same BS nomenclature is now going to migrate over to cable operated components as well. I'm not sure I can take it.
