Proper dream bike. Nicolai is the only company that has properly and thoroughly understood MTB geometry. If I needed a new bike right now, the G1 would be what I'd buy. Although my OCD can't stand the fact that there's parts from like 50 different brands on the bike.

Kind of a big face palm to not use the same wheels/tires on all bikes. Sure the mfgs choose different tires for different reasons, but if you truly want to compare the efficiency of all the bikes, you need to isolate as many variables as possible. Wheels/tires are a huge one in terms of rolling resistance. "Bro, my F150 is supposed to get 20mpg. I put 35" mudders on and I only get 15mpg!"
