Anyone had any warranty issues with 70/90 parts? Just got a new bike w/ 70 derailleur/shifter in the shop. If the shifting works in the harder gears it wants to throw the chain over the largest cog occasionally. SRAM is sending a replacement derailleur, but maybe it could be the shifter, too much cable throw in certain gears. If only there was a way to limit the derailleur travel, say with a small screw, in case things weren't operating perfectly. Oh well, maybe in version 3 or 4.

No doubt there is a market for used e-bikes, both in the US and Europe, but this seems like a high valuation (~$400 million). Is this not just another Pros Closet, but with way more shipping issues due to batteries? NEW YORK, Nov. 6, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Upway, the global leader in professionally refurbished e-bikes, today announced the closing of its $60 million Series C funding round, led by A.P. Moller with participation from U.S.-based Galvanize and Ora Global, and continued support from Sequoia Capital and other global investors. This new round brings total funding to over $125 million since...

Yeah the bike is about 60lb. I thought it was 55lb, I wish it was lighter but not a big deal. It rides much lighter than it feels on paper. My next ebike I hope will be under 50lb as I keep my eye on something with DJI motor.

Check out Lizard Skins DSP brake lever grips. It's a super thin bar tape cut specifically for brake levers. I use it on my Dominion A4 and Maximas. It is nice and grippy and as a bonus it helps with cold metal levers during winter.

" I'm a big guy and always looking for more power." My Large Mammalian Maple Brother... as a 6'3" 230lb Brique Shithaus, the answer you seek is still Hayes Dominion A4's Wink Dead Dog on Mt 7 on a Norco Shore running 220/203 Rotors and Sintered pads and Conti' DH SS Shoes was smooth, confident and in-control with 0 Fade or wander of bite on the Hayes magic. Hell, I can 10mth old baby slow crawl the chutes on Puma Grande in the dry with these bad larrys. Promise you'll love 'em

The new bike looks great guys. And as an owner of a Wreckoning v2, Offering v2, Wreckoning v3, Following v3, and Following LS, I really appreciate all the subtle updates like cable routing, seat angle, seat post insertion depth, impact protection, flip chips, solid allen bolts, and rear fender. I dont currently have a mid travel bike but this definitely piques my interest. Really looking forward to see these changes populate through the rest of the lineup as well.

Thanks for the note & we are happy to be here! To be completely honest, I think this question is better posed toward companies that refused to tread into Superboost territory in the first place. We don't need any convincing - we still believe in the benefits of Superboost, although at the end of the day, we are a business who's goal is to actually sell bikes. The market spoke loud & clear on this one, and Boost came out on top. At the end of the day, Superboost has inarguable benefits in both strength and clearance. The elephant in...

fwiw, adam (the "money guy backer") was at the venue every day moving lumber, signs, cords, spray paint, dirt, tools, boxes etc. he was covered in dirt like all the crew, in addition to hosting riders for meals and gatherings at his home. he was anything but hands-off.

FWIW nearly every single dropper post offering both 30.9 and 31.6 models use identical internals, including bushings, in both models. I don't think there's an appreciable difference between the two. There's a valid argument with 34.9 but at the same time, now that droppers are mature enough, I'm not sure most people are actually experiencing the issues with 30.9/31.6 posts that 34.9 was meant to solve. Companies are just too good at making em' these days. A 30.9 post fits everything modern with various shims.

Can confirm this is real. You think the guy at Avalanche suspension is "interesting", Howard Messner was on another level of insane. Ohlins actually cut ties with him for abusing customers pretty much. Sadly he died in 2022 but that man turned shitbox harley davidsons into bikes that were less shit that's for sure. A true suspension genius. I was his first Australian customer approx 15 years ago, I had to talk to him for weeks to persuade him I wasn't a nigerian scammer lol. I had to go to my local library and use the fax machine to place...

Hey Nukeproof: seems like there’s a pretty good distributor and marketing infrastructure set up in the US if you’re looking to move into that market. Give Jeff Taylor a call. Now opening Bentonville and San Clemente locations: the Nukeproof Bunker.

I don't think you're necessarily being fair Steve. I just don't think we know enough about the situation to make such a damning statement. Maybe Marcus was in their ear telling them he was so close to getting YTG and all the rights back, and knowing YTUSA made up 50% of sales, had to keep them on the hook if YT's revival was going to work out. Maybe YTUSA was plying for more investment from elsewhere with the goal of purchasing IP from the receiver, approaching new factories, and tooling up production. All we can say for sure is they...

Thanks & great question - it's a longer answer than we can reasonably sum up here, but we'll do our best. Your assessment is correct - an "agile" ride character has always been somewhat of a hallmark here at Evil. We try to walk the line between agile/fun, and stable/confident. Short stays make for fun wheelies & jumps, thus, we've always stayed on the shorter side. There's a great argument for size-specific chainstay lengths - that much, we do not debate. Our rear triangles are a relatively complex mold. Molds are quite expensive. Introducing another rear triangle mold increases total...

From a commenter on PB: “ Everyone needs the hear the facts. Markus flossman is an egotistical freak and scammer. After insolvency there was a handshake deal for YT USA to purchase exclusive brand rights and be independently operated. Truth is Markus couldn’t stand the idea of US branch not being under his control. Continued to shoot over shitty deals, 1 year contracts, and insane royalty payments. We as a staff chose not to sign up for a shitty deal that would ultimately kill us anyways. Everyone thinks private equity killed this brand. That’s wrong. Markus single handedly killed YT...

Some hilarious and spot on comments here. When people ask me what bike to buy these days, I tell em its like deciding between a Porsche, BMW, Benz, Acura, Lexus, Caddy, Raptor, or one of other high end auto makers. They're all pretty darn good at the higher end. Its more about what flavor you like. As Eoin noted, looks...
