That logo is bad, and Öhlins should feel bad for using it.

“Radial tires” “The plies are placed at a 65 degree angle” Both of those cannot be true. And, is this 65 degrees from horizontal or vertical?

MX rotors for your XC bike from Magura: --------------------------------------------------------- Bad Urach, April 1, 2026 – Reliable braking power for the new wheel sizes in the cycling industry: With the new MDR-S rotor in a 260 mm diameter, MAGURA responds to the clear trend toward ever larger wheel sizes such as 32 inches, which offer improved rollover behavior and increased traction on the trail. The scene agrees: 32 inches are coming, and in some segments, this trend is unstoppable—even for MAGURA. As a brake specialist, MAGURA has repeatedly set milestones in the cycling industry over the past decades—from the introduction of...

Agreed, HR3 is awesome, especially in loose or loose over hard. I'd describe it as the best of an Assegai and DHF, without the downsides. My one hesitation for recommending Maxxis or Schwalbe for a bike park setup is just how damn fast their tires wear down compared to others. A set of Conti Super Softs will easily last 3x as long as MaxxGrip or Schwalbe Soft.

Xynotal Enduro casing > Aggressor DD. The Xynotal continues to blow me away with how versatile a pretty good rolling tire can be. I've done a 40mi XCM race on a DH casing one and even ridden it in the snow with good results. Only thing that could pry it from my rim is a radial Hans Dampf.

I'd love to see some more good semi-slicks in tough casings again 👍

Suns' succinctly summarizing the dilemma of the modern trail bike, especially at high altitude: tough to keep a bike fast and light and have great front traction. He is a true tire nerd and a wealth of tire info. For years I have been on a quest for this holy grail of fast, light, and big hook up! In the last few months I've ridden on the front the DHF exo+ 2.5 3c Maxxterra (my personal fav for years), the Tioga Edge 22, and now the Albert radial in soft. I consider the Assguy the benchmark for outright cornering and...

Forekaster/rekon combo? I’m looking at those as they both come in Exo+. Wanting fast rolling trail setup for rocky/dry conditions.

sweet build. Just FYI to the owner, that ochain is NOT compatible with the 5DEV Ti cranks. Ask me how I know. You can even see the scarring where the arm is coming to contact with the sprocket as it attempts to rotate.

While the testing video was pretty funny, I’m really looking forward to seeing this project progress. Filament wound tubes have some definite advantages when it comes to creating an efficient structure (ie. low weight for a given stiffness and strength, and minimal voids in the layup). Not to mention a lot of flexibility in the way you can layup the strand, with possibilities of adjusting winding angles for a stiffer/flexier layup depending on frame size, etc. While Cduro now offering a few frames with similar manufacturing, they are certainly at a premium price point. I also like that they are...
