2/12/2025 8:33am Garbaruk posted on instagram that they have a new product announcing tomorrow, but a guy that I believe is sponsored by garabaruk seems to have pulled the trigger on his post early. Seems like Garbaruk is launching their own wheelsets, hubs, and spokes. Looks like some nice pieces, and it also seems like they have done a spoke very similar to industry nines "system" spokes. Lets just hope they dont charge like €3k+ for a set, which is what a I9 System carbon wheelset with multiple colors costs here in europe. Post says "reasonable pricing" - Who knows what that...

2/10/2025 8:14am Is Hope about to come out with a new version of the Tech brakes? This looks suspiciously like a bleed port, which may see the end of those messy open reservoir bleeds. Presumably if that's what it is, you'd just need to orient the lever downwards to ensure the bleed port is at the highest point (which would also allow any bubbles to flow around the internal membrane, which typically has a pretty intricate shape). 1/28/2025 11:28pm The Albert trail 2.5’s measure 60mm at their widest point on a 30mm i9 rim

1/25/2025 6:45pm finally got a chance to measure my Albert gravity 2.6's today. 61mm at their widest point on a 30mm i9 rim. My 2.6 Dissector on another 30mm i9 rim is 67mm. So they're definitely on the small side. I have a set of Albert 2.5's in the trail casing arriving Monday

1/20/2025 11:44am I only had one day on them and SoCal conditions are schizophrenic, a combination of deep sand and concrete but I agree. They definitely don't feel like they roll slow even as Schwable says and the "muted" feeling people talk about actually provides a little extra confidence that they're not skipping around, like they're tracking straight(er). I would add two observations: the Albert on the rear was surprisingly good under braking and the rounded shape was consistent edge to edge up front. Opposite of the Assegai and not something I thought I'd like. Even with higher PSI when you weight...

1/18/2025 10:06pm The radial Albert’s are the real deal. Mine are gravity super soft 2.6’s front and rear. Had my first race on them today and the grip combined with the damped feeling of the gravity casing added a whole new layer of confidence for me. The most surprising aspect though, the fact that they pedal and roll quite well. Much more...

1/14/2025 12:12pm I'm no scientist but if the width is round (the casing) and it's flattened won't the contact patrch end up wider than the static measurement? Especially if the knobs also flex out. So, if the radial is doing what it's marketed to do, a Maxxis measuring the same static width would have a narrower contact patch than a radial. That's how I understand that the secret sauce of the radial is meant to be.

1/14/2025 12:10pm I just installed 2.6 albert radials with the gravity casing on 30mm rims and without measuring (yet) I can verify that they are small

1/14/2025 12:10pm Could you measure the width between those two alberts? From what I’ve read on mtbr forums, all radials are undersized.
