It's ridiculous to have both 30.9 and 31.6. But we should have one of them as 34.9 doesn't make sense for steel bikes but it's pretty much ideal for aluminum and carbon especially as seat tubes and post insertion lengths are getting shorter but seatposts are getting longer. I would see all hardtails and steel/ti bikes move to 31.6 and everything else move to 34.9.

The industry can ram headset routing down our throats yet they can't get together enough to have a common seatpost diameter?! I'd love to see survey results for how many want/don't want headset routing.

then I'd love to see one of the current crop of titanium bars included (Roost and/or Stanton) since they make bold claims about compliance

Gratifying to see the 31.8 aluminum handlebar hold up so well against the new stuff in rigorous testing. (As opposed to forum opinions such as my own!) Thanks for all the work that went into this.

I'm all for advancement but that new shock design takes customization out of the owners hands. Also, I'm surprised to hear that Specialized still uses a 3rd party manufacturer. As big as they are, I would have assumed they would've reached the point where bringing production in house would have made more sense.

Just added them in with a brief description. In my mind, those bars are a 10 out of 10, but I did consider the benefit of a softer bar in technical terrain.

I would probably hire a trainer, a dietician and a skills coach. Then maybe have a team of DH, XC and l guess even road. Have the best stuff and the best training money can buy. Whoever designed the Specialized team colors this year will never be hired.
