HOT DAMN LOOK AT THAT POST COUNT! legendary marzo number. I have to stop posting now, sorry. oh no, wait....what just happened

thoughts on banning all new vital signups for 1 year? (kidding, but welcome to vital)

Smell that, Gordo? That's opportunity....or the dumpster fire that the Pinkbike comments section is turning into at the moment.

Where did Outside get all this cash to be hoovering up all these platforms? Yeesch. Support independent media. Cranked magazine, Misspent Summers and Adventure Journal are pretty great. And of course turn off your ad blocker for Vital.

I'm hoping this becomes a good thing for Vital. Vital has always had better content but maybe not the budget to be at all the races/events viewers care about. I generally go to pinkbike when there is no coverage of something I'm interested in here.

This is the reason I signed up here today.

sspomer, update your servers for some extra traffic... pinkbike may or may not have just died

ugh. gutted for baptiste : (

Great to see Monster stepping up and taking on more women, after Camille Balanche a couple of weeks ago it's Marine Cabirou's turn to pick up a fancy new lid and the support that comes with it: View this post on Instagram A post shared by Marine Cabirou (@marine_cabirou)

It's unfortunate that Luca struggles with a missed line here and there resulting in a crash to what otherwise would be a winning run so often. He's one of the guys I want to see come across in the green so badly. Dude needs a win in more than one way. I think he's like Finn, both pushing so hard when they're on it and slipping slightly on a banger and crashing. Hopefully we see Luca on a step in the future. Finn as well.

Looks like SRAM are working on a new Shockwiz-type suspension analysis device. They've figured out a way to package the system much smaller, so everything (battery, sensor, circuit boards, antenna, etc.) fits inside the top cap. It should be a nice looking package that'll be less susceptible to damage. https://wheelbased.com/2021/07/12/bicycle-suspension-components-and-electronic-monitoring-devices-by-sram/

Pardon my Andorran but what the actual fuck is going on here

Hold up, is that a chopped up Commencal DH, with a welded on gearbox, and a metal cord to compress/pull the shock?

It is, by a plastic coated steel cable. The extra spring is supposedly to prevent the swingarm rebounding quicker than the shock, it keeps the cable system taught.

Is the shock being driven by some kind of pull-cord? What is the extra spring behind the seat tube for? I'm so confused.

Megavalanche giveth some more. From this dude: https://www.instagram.com/jannicklange/

I still think she's on the short list for when Greg retires...

They should've signed Nina. Btw, how come the denim destroyer hasn't raced this year? I don't remember seeing him at a World Cup last year either. Is he still under contract with GT?
