Unfortunate to see GT bringing the top tube way down, but still keeping the seat tube length longer than the reach. New transition aluminum bikes are really exciting to look at. I hope there’s an aluminum Scout 150 coming soon that is basically a modern update of the V1 Patrol.

just browsing the pivot website, looking through their suspension guide I think they let the cat out of the bag for the firebird 29 rear shock. Current model is 230x65 standard eyelet, Seems the new one is 205x65 trunnion which by rights means a 29 inch Mach 6 lookalike I presume.
