The Honda will always have a special place in my heart but this new Supreme is sexy af, and probably the fastest bike out there. On a side note, the lack of coverage of this race from the media is sad. The entry list is mental. Check it out on the portuguese federation website if you haven't.

Man, How cool would it be to see Intense just come out with a line of high quality aluminum, Horst Pivot, made in Cali bikes? Bring them back to their roots. Ditch the carbon, get back to what made them great back in the day

Random thoughts with the intense situation, With intense's current size vs Santa Cruz, how much does developing a new VPP bike cost vs going back to basics with a line of really great Horst link bikes. I know Intense and SC shared development while the patent was around but intense worked with and I'm guessing paid Cero design a lot of $$ to help them with the "JS tuned" bikes, which I spent time on a few of them and they were great frames, but if Intense lacks the in house engineering team other brands have and is sourcing it...

I’m sure (I hope) that the people running intense are smarter than me. But it seems they are going down a very stupid path: Build a 29” DH bike in a rush. Throw a billion dollars at Gwin. Decide the bike isn’t that good and completely re-design. Only let Gwin ride it. Proto an enduro bike modeled after it, no announcements for months. Produce a carbon mold, let outlets test it without releasing any #’s. Months later still no news. Decide that your proto DH bike sucks and copy a trek (potentially the only smart decision they’ve made) Be stuck...

Maybe we are now seeing that there's not enough sales of DH bikes to justify the cost of making molds for a carbon frame? Especially for a minimal gain in performance...

It would make sense to have a new AL downhill bike from transition. They are over the WC circuit. Why not just make a new DH bike that’s a little more free-ridey and cheaper for the consumer.

Those changes would be a huge press release from Rock Shox along with all sorts of new buzzwords.

Think how many posts there have been about it on this site alone. Covering it up has generated loads of interest about what is under there; is it just a session? Is is Nico’s bike? Is it the new Intense proto? Where are the pivots, it’s ABS, it’s Horst link, it’s VPP? Etc. Good or bad there has been a lot of publicity about to just from the first initial ‘spy shot’.
