IFR's approach to this new bike is perplexing to me... if it is secret enough that it has to be covered up, why use side-view shots of it for a major press release? If it's supposed to get people interested in a new bike they have coming out, why is it still covered up? And if it's an attempt to use guerilla marketing tactics to stoke interest, won't that fall a little flat when they release a barely-tweaked Session?

Sam Hill in that Leatt helmet was the worst thing that ever happened in mtb.

Love how now it has all gone quiet on the team rumors, we are clinging on to the thrill of this thread by guessing what helmet Sam Hill might use.

He was on 100% helmets and goggles but already made a goodbye post to 100%. Maybe back to Leatt? Kelan Grant posted Leatt shoes some days ago. His kids were riding in what appeared brand new Fox helmets recently, so who knows… But it would be awesome to see him back to TLD!!

I had the previous type, and it wasn't the shifter that was the big dealbreaker, it was the speed. And the speed was just horrible. I lost a lot of time in races and strava segments, as the downshifts after going fast down going straight to climb was too slow. I now have AXS on the same setup, and it is just so much better. If the Sprint batteries (overvolting for the servo to perform better) are giving a significant speed increase, I could be tempted to try this another time with the new shifter on my hardtail. But for...

Why we love the kiwi's... "Out for a few chill laps, had a hugey, broke some back bones and some inside bits. Be sweet as in a few weeks. 2022 is choice as bro."

Not sure about that: his program is about more than just the frame, all components - especially tyres - are what he thinks will make him the fastest. Beyond that, even if the design is similar, Neko gets a frame exactly to his size, not sure if intense will really make custom sizes for each rider, or just take the overall bike fitted for AG and change the reach for other riders. And finally, in his second video Neko suggests he might switch between a standard FSR or mid-high pivot depending on the track, which wouldn't be an option at...

With all the detailed images that Jeff posted, I went ahead and did this render of what the bike could look like. Just need to wait and see how close or off the bike I will be from this. PH

Intense was marketing themselves pretty hard in being able to whip up new frames for their riders whenever one of them wanted change, if Neko left to build his own frames, does it sound like Intense was giving him what he wanted?

You, sir, are very correct! I am wondering if I am the only one who isn't visually pleased by what he gets to see in the World Cup: - a lot of black (photographers love you) - distasteful jerseys with logos just thrown at them - the Commencal logo - stupid team names (Even if it's not visual per-se, it's still part of the identity of a brand, who on Earth cares about the Guerillas, Mobs, Gravity Republics and, erm, Riding Addictions out there, honestly?!) It's a shame because I used to Lust after Intense bikes. I started riding in 99 and I had posters of all the intense riders and bikes on my wall as a kid. I even loved the Haro team because they were riding rebranded M1's. I had this poster over my bed:
