Here is the YouTube video. Lewis doesn't indulge much as to why he is no longer with Norco, but it sounds like the plan is to buy multiple frames throughout the year to find out what he likes. Without knowing the details of why Lewis and Norco split ways, I think it's easy to assume it was due to the OnlyFans sponsorship, but it's also likely there were other factors at play. I'd be bummed if Norco pulled the plug just because of the OF deal, but it does seem like a tricky situation to navigate for a brand. It...

The screenshot is from one of his videos (testing Reverse wheels). I might have missed him mentioning that.

Very interesting choices made by each athlete, particularly on tires and brakes. I'm glad to see quite a few pros still prefer 31.8mm bars.

I know a guy that knows the answer-and that is no chrome. When asian suppliers began cleaning up production facilities and reducing chemicals, chrome finishes on plastic got a little more difficult and expensive. Even the TLD paint shop has had a hard time (virtually impossible) getting chrome done due to emissions standards, etc...I guess you could blame Greta? lol

Kate Courtney's recent photo on Instagram showing a new power meter/chainring combo from SRAM. Low res/quality to tell much. Also in the photo is a prototype SID (has the new prototype stickers they're using on other products). Link to 'gram: https://www.instagram.com/p/CoMYXEfuZHh/?hl=en

It’s not like you couldn’t just buy the previous version, or continue to ride what you have, or buy the step below….it’s not like Sram has stopped production on electricity, these are mtb parts we are talking about here. man we live a pretty sweet life if this is our biggest concern going into the season

From what I heard someone high up at Sram is heavily invested in autodesk, that's how their little prototype partnership came to be. (By heavily invested I mean a stock owning board member)

While being quite a big opponent of electronic shifting and electronic suspension (the bike should just work...) I would buy a DUB spindle power meter in a heartbeat for my MTB. Just to geek out and to see what kind of power I can achieve on the bike. If spider based power meters weren't limited to 32T chainrings (104 BCD...) and would fit a 30T, or the cassettes would increase to ~54T max (enabling me to run a 32T chainring) I'd buy one of those, something along the lines of a Sigeyi off AliExpress. Do I need one? No. Do...

Fun fact about Pirelli is that 46% of the company is owned by Chinese ChemChina, which in October 2022, the United States Department of Defense added to a list of "Chinese military companies" operating in the U.S.

A winning setup doesn't last forever...I made the choice that I thought would bring me success for many years to come. Canyon has a bigger commitment to racing and winning and I've always felt I wanted a little extra help to go even faster. I recorded a podcast with Downtime last week so that should be out soon and explain some more.

Stages recently sold a big interest in the company to Giant, fwiw. Cycling Electronics is the dumbest market segment. The only electronics I want in mtb is Alex Rankin pointing a VX80 with a fisheye at someone flying sideways.
