R.E Atherton. SM170 (subtracted manufacturing 170). MBUK digested, not an awful lot but a few bit and pieces. Made in Wales, although the lugs not made in house. Presumably contracted out to other company nearby? Reading between the lines tube and component assembly at Atherton HQ. CNC machined lugs. 7075 aluminium. 12 sizes rather than the 23 currently offered (still not bad). DW4 rather than DW6, twin link, 10 bearings. Full range in aluminium planned soon.

While I work in a different industry, Construction/Custom Homebuilding, I saw a similar thing happen in my field. People getting decks built, bathroom renovations, buying a new home, etc. earlier than they would have under normal circumstances, pulling sales from the future into the present. The major difference I noticed was that none of my suppliers or contractors ramped up their production or workforce to meet demand. General contractors just had to accept longer lead times for everything. I went from ordering cabinets 5-6 weeks out to 10-12 weeks, garage doors went from 3 weeks to 16 weeks. Even scheduling...

Those sound an awful lot like facts. Please stick to rumors around here. Though I suppose the innovation loophole might allow it...

I mean, depends really on tires and if they installed inserts. The highest spec Devinci Troy with double down is 33.77lb (15.32kg for non freedom unit lovers). That bike has XT and ARC30 wheels. In my opinion if it has heavy duty tires and decent build, 34 is not that unreasonable.
