The [large] shop I worked at made most of its money off of bikes [hybrid/urban, mountain, road in decreasing order], although clothing and accessories had better margin. Service work was effectively break-even [lots of free tweaks and adjustments for existing customers] and margin on parts is terrible. Online sales were fairly small when I started there, about the same revenue as 1 full-time salesperson, but with lower margins. Even before the pandemic, online sales were ramping up, but once April 2020 hit...

I didn't want it to end this way, but this is the way it happened. I'm picky about my brakes, and I've been searching for a good setup for a while. I liked the Codes just fine, but there is a lot of lever throw for my preference. I've been able to shorten the throw of the brakes, but it would inevitably reset back to normal after a few rides. I wanted more power and shorter throw. I'd heard of Magura's performance for a few years, and decided to try the MT7's. The power was awesome. Lever throw was good...

Andreu had a big crash higher up on the mountain later in the day and is rumoured to have broken his collarbone. We have reached out with him for more details and will update when we hear back."

I did a little searching around (there was a rumor earlier in the year that he was back on Hyper) and I think you're right, the most recent substantive reports I could find were that YT didn't renew him.
