9/30/2021 1:35pm this might be true in an idealized state with no flex or deflection in the frame or pivots and the frame was built entirely square, but as soon as anything doesn't line up perfectly you get off axis loading.

in this case i didnt get to it until thursday, but the spoilers were posted ~24 hours after the replay was available, and usually im out riding on weekends and working monday and watch monday night or tuesday night depending on work.

could y'all not put spoilers in the article title and just go with 'Lenzerheide Winning Bike Check' or similar? Took me a couple days to get to watching the race and spoiled it scrolling the front page looking for something else

8/16/2021 2:05pm wheelbased.com has some good articles on the yeti suspension patents which match the photos of the new bike pretty well so far. More on the overall layout than kinematic specifics, but good reading if you're hunting for more info. He's got a supporting article on the differences between the commencal and yeti 6-bar systems as well, as they're pretty visually...

8/13/2021 2:24pm I was reading the (quite good) article on the yeti 6-bar patent over on wheelbased, and this was posted in the comments. Considering the patent diagrams and bike look pretty similar to me I figured I'd pass it along, not sure how many people read wheelbased.

6/10/2021 2:36pm spotted on myriam nicole's IG story: an uncovered seatstay bidge on the new commencal protos. Looks like its bolted together, not sure if it was to simplify manufacturing or to let them tune the rear end stiffness/damping for performance reasons. Either way an interesting bit and something they're trying to keep covered.

2/3/2021 3:58pm Probably a fancy balance board she's standing on, you can tell they're nikes and she tags praep and says testing proto products. Maybe its a balance board with pedals in the same vein as their handlebar pushup trainer thing.

12/10/2020 11:42am I think I saw you there on your trials bike last week, was pretty jealous of your skills. The park looks sick, shame they did the construction over the summer and then opened it right as the weather went to shit. Gonna be interesting to see how well its maintained as with how poor drainage is its already pretty rutted...

11/14/2020 9:32am Pretty sure you can, I replaced the shit guide levers that came on my bike with slightly less shit versions and it was easy. The caliper is the same for all levels of the Guide and pretty sure its similar with the Code but not 100% on that.
