You've got that backwards, It is a class 3 ebike with the option to turn on a 20mph speed limiter. That is the only way to logically treat this bike, and it is definitely a bad idea. Be prepared for land managers to not allow any specialized ebikes because of it.

I agree 1000%. I always give the example of In-N-Out vs. Jack in the Box. One of these companies offers very few choices, is always busy, and is exploding with business. Crazy news from Portland, Oregon: longtime MTB anchor Fat Tire Farm is closing after 40 years in business. For me, this news felt like it came out of nowhere. Obviously the bike industry is hurting, but the Farm has weathered a lot of storms, and every time I go in they seemed to be going from strength to strength. They were probably the best, healthiest bike shop I've ever been to, and it's a huge loss to the Portland riding community. They supported local trail work, ran their own summer race series, had their own pro suspension service and tuning...

As for WR1, I hope they are doing ok. Their customer service has been amazing and their products are just as good. They sent out an email saying they would cover the US customers tariffs for them. I think partnering with P321 just allows them to keep their overhead lower. The hubs are top notch and it isn’t the first time the two companies have worked together (my first set of WR1 wheels had P321 hubs (made in USA).

People park the chain on the 10T, put it in max boost and pedal at a 30rpm cadence. If you're not putting out much power super low cadence is comfortable.

I worked at a dealer during that time too and it was absolutely as bad as the internet thought it was. I don’t buy the “pre-production” excuse. They all exploded, pretty much every SB5c and SB6c we sold. Front end, rear end, they all broke. At one point we had two bike boxes full of dead triangles.

So the Arrival was like the Lexus LFA of the bike world. I can respect that.
