Im always curious to know how popular ibis bikes are in Australia where the bird is known as a "bin chicken".... it would be like bringing a bike to the US and calling it Turkey....

What Avinox pulled off is impressive engineering but I would have rather seen them stay in the 90-100 Nm Range and therefore make the motor smaller und lighter. Having a Bosch CX4 bike myself (Canyon Strive:ON) I really don't miss more power but less weight would be really appreciated.

If it rides as well as it looks, then it should be a damn good bike 🤩

Sam Hill landed nose-heavy. Aaron looked rightly-cautious of the size of the jumps. Literally said, "I've never jumped something this big before". So, yeah, some very well-experienced racers are having to adapt their mindset and conquer apprehension about the track. She's a pro racer. She got the invite, did the whole course, and came up short on the last jump. Yes, it sucks that she's injured now. But we've all seen men break themselves off racing at the top level. This isn't really different than that. What's weird is that you are questioning her credentials...or her right to be there...

I'm recalling some article somewhere that someone talked with the owner or someone high up at Phoenix and it was confirmed that some folks ride prototype mules that never go to production but are still worth riding because they're sick bikes. I find it crazy that they'd already be proto-ing a new firebird after they just released an updated version (that had updates to the frame, so new carbon moulds I'm assuming), just doesn't seem likely or feasible. My money's on this is either a firebird prototype they built to test the principles from the phoenix that didn't end up...

Back to crab related rumours. Kavenz has started prototyping their VHP V8 which will be carbon tube and cnc’d lugs. They will be posting a series following along with all the details, similar to what they did when they created the first version of their frame.

Hi gang, I won the Trans Cascadia dream bike raffle (Bronson CC, XTR, Chris King everything, Podium, Tenet kit, etc) and I can't in good conscience keep it. My local food pantries have been asking for donations to support families that go to our school and I'm hoping to raffle it off and have the proceeds go to them. Here's the thing: I have no idea how to create a raffle, and I'm wondering if you (YOU!) have experience with this sort of thing? I know I could probably just sell it and donate the proceeds, but guessing a well...

Something screams scor at me with this bike but they went out of business, somehow…BMC, the company behind it, might want to give it another try.
