The box is a gps to have live info for the top riders during finals. I Think it's how they show speed in real time.

In order to improve viewership I would lean into this feature heavily. Mountain bike tourism is huge right now. Mariana Salazar returns to racing in Les Gets! If you don't know, she was diagnosed with cancer a year ago, right after the race in Les Gets. She is finally able to return to racing after being a course sweeper at french national champs. Really this is the best news of the all week! Her fight went completely under the radar, I feel she deserves some recognition.
