11/1/2024 10:44am What is the advantage? Being able to move with cranks I can shift my body weight where I need. Also does not feel like having my feet just on BB keeps me well balanced on bike as normally I would have one leg way far in front and one behind. And I kinda feel being able to move my pedals around the axle, I can actually stick more to bike better (better grip between shoe / pedal). Probably someone will say this is a moto style, but they have a completely different seat and weight distribution over it. Maybe i'm...

8/5/2024 11:34am I also love my Pedaling Innovations Catalyst pedals and don’t want to ever go back to “regular” pedals. The stability of having pretty much your whole foot supported is amazing.

8/5/2024 11:30am For me none of them would beat Pedaling Innovations Catalyst pedals, as it has a longer platform. I am size 42 length wise, use size 44 shoes. With long pins it grips well even with snow on the pedals. I use mid foot position, or/and close to it, my bike is setup for that, and fits me well. But I won't go back to regular sized pedals. But nice to know about the other pedals anyway, so I then can recommend some to some kids. But for big adult feet, big pedals is the way to go. But I wish...

7/18/2024 6:45pm this is great. I would love to see it expanded into an expansive data set like you guys do with flat pedals

Milton 26" Liked a comment about Press Release What Sets The New Race Face Handlebars Apart?
6/13/2024 10:58am Ironically, in a blind test done by GMBN the reviewer found the aluminium bar to be more comfortable than the carbon one, and it was the advertised Race Face ERA bar! Check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qX92u-uzLfo I'll stick with my Aluminium 31,8 bar since I prioritize comfort.

It was like 12 years ago that I rode those bits of the old track and I don’t remember how we got to them. Even back then they were not on the maps anymore. I imagine they’ve been returned to nature by now.

2/19/2024 2:14pm The geometry is spot on. I also like the fully sealed bearings, the adjustability, the external cable routing and the fact that with 4.8 kg of weight, the frame is going to be near indestructible. Everything else, I'm not so keen on... Looks, weight, price, trunnion shock, insane amounts of progression, lack of UDH, etc.

2/19/2024 2:14pm Yeah. The last version, especially in raw, was one of the cleanest nicest looking frames to date. This one, woof.

TEAMROBOT Liked a reply to forum topic 2.4 tires for enduro
2/19/2024 2:10pm Just a heads up about tire sizing, because you seem to be dead set on getting a 2.4" tire. Not all 2.4" tires are the same size, and the best way to get a sense of the actual size of a tire is the ETRTO listing on the sidewall of the tire. For instance, the old 26" Maxxis Minion DHF 2.5" had an ETRTO listing of 58mm, but the new 29" Maxxis Minion DHF 2.5" has a ETRTO listing of 63mm. They're both ostensibly a 2.5" tire, but in reality one is 10% wider. Why? The 2.5" moniker is there...

2/19/2024 2:08pm I say this as a guy who only owns an enduro, but why not? It's great to get to the bottom of the trail and head right back to the lift instead of going all the way out to the car for a sip. Now, in racing situations, I can see why you might not want the extra weight.

2/19/2024 2:07pm One mounting point with the water bottle standard does allow racers to get creative now that we have all these adapters. Having a set of allen keys at the top when you notice a loose stem bolt will save a ride & I don't want stuff in my bar ends or head tube. A single, intelligent placed mount allows DAQ/telemetry hardware mounts for racers to simplify that & your idea for ballast has merit too. Would allow a solid anchor without vibration and you can build a set of ballast that overlap like those multi-function dumbbells they sell in sporting...

2/19/2024 2:07pm How else are you supposed to carry your lift sodas?! No harm in having some bottle bosses in the front triangle for whatever you want to carry. Far better solution than any kind of pack for bike park days

2/19/2024 2:07pm 100% as long as it's not compromising suspension design or something else performance-wise. Can be used to mount a tube/multi-tool/handsaw etc instead as well. All very useful things
