7/24/2025 7:09pm Loving all the off-camber corners. That track looks amazing for their first big DH race.

7/22/2025 4:03pm Or maybe it was just one off accident? How many years have Atherton been making dh bikes racing WC and Hardline, crazy Gee lines, etc and this is the first one to break like that?

7/22/2025 4:03pm So you're telling me people have a hard time maintaining perspective? Guy who was hired to help bike company test bikes because he rides hard enough break bikes actually goes out and rides hard enough to break bikes? Guy who rides hard when cameras aren't rolling also rides hard when cameras are rolling? "...he asked for the clip to be removed from MoiMoi's youtube video..." I guess I didn't know realize you know the inner workings of the Pivot marketing department. Did BK tell you he asked Jack to take it out or did Jack tell you BK asked for...

7/16/2025 11:00am I don’t mean to make light of a bad situation, but this felt inevitable. Anyone with any level of inside knowledge of the bike industry could look at YT from 30,000 feet and perhaps wonder if they have long had a money tree or maybe the operation was a money laundering front for the cartel.\ Some head scratchers, in no particular order: -Aggressively low prices (like...how is this possible low pricing) -Bloated SKU count (for them, its mostly the number of builds they have per model of bike) -Complex global supplier web (true for everyone, but their vendor count is...

7/16/2025 10:58am I wonder what's causing that chaotic variable pricing? 🤔 Perhaps a certain yam-tittied, geriatic orange ghoul at head of a certain government?

7/16/2025 10:46am It's more a response to the opinion in that NYT article. I agree that more needed to be done to diversify our energy sources, for both national security and environmental reasons. The current administration is rooted in the good ol'ways of things and it's concerning as a neighbor to watch it unfold.

7/14/2025 10:41am Didn’t Dan booker whose gap it was spend every bit as much time helping people out as Bernard? didn’t Jackson see the gap done live and chose to do it? I guess that’s a benefit of a good qualifier. Watching Bernard over the years he seems to think to be be on the “victim” side of things more often than not. I don’t really see any equation between helping people thru dangerous features and everyone agreeing to ride a feature instead of the bline come race day and essentially giving away all of your racing lines from top to bottom...

7/14/2025 10:41am I think the main problem with the argument is separating getting over a life-threatening feature vs line choice. (And not conflating the two.) As well as, to play devil's advocate, BK weaponizing the fact that he is willing to be the tow in for so many riders. It's nice... Until you start implying that backs NEED to be scratched now and all race lines must be shared because I towed multiple people over the 90. I think he is still right on the Hardline practice has to be about working together part. But I think he missed the forest for...

7/14/2025 10:37am Hugo Pigeon got a 3-peat. His camera died a few minutes before he finishes, but you can see in the instances he looks behind, he has totally abandoned everybody. Can't tell if he's on his Ransom or something else.

7/14/2025 10:36am I think the teams on the ground there at the event are the barometer of if this was an issue. I've only listened to the Downtime post show and Andora pre-show and is seems none of them (Neko, Kilmurray, and Oli) think it was an issue. Troy didn't mention it in his race vlog on Youtube. Are any teams up in arms about the delay affecting the outcome and just aren't sharing it publicly?

7/14/2025 10:35am You need to give The Downtime Andora pre shoe a listen. https://www.downtimepodcast.com/ Chris Kilmurray first calls out your flat earth theory then explained why the hold was the time it was.

7/14/2025 10:34am Correct you are! First we had the go pro turn off half way down the course so he could do a French line, then he paid someone with a wind blower to assist him on the motor way at leogang, Val Di sole was just blatant disrespect for a first time dad so I don’t want to talk about it, and now! We have wbd postponing race runs because of some light rain allowing the last few riders to drop in clear skies, meanwhile they broadcast a race in the snow at the start of the year, and most of...

7/10/2025 6:37pm Listening to Greg talking to Wyn about Danny missing the track walk was pretty telling. I also don't personally subscribe to the argument that it makes for better viewing, I prefer watching a rider's skill through tech, not a contest to see who's got the biggest balls, but then I guess as a seasoned fan I'm not really their target audience.

7/10/2025 6:36pm 🥱 This track looks fun to ride, but after a few years of watching riders race 90% of the same track and same lines, my motivation to tune in this weekend is way lower than other rounds. It doesn't help that the track is so one lined and times are so tight, that the broadcast gets super monotonous IMO as it's hard to distinguish when someone is on a good run. I haven't seen this track in person and don't know the constraints of the hillside, but why not move the poles over a few feet in more sections? Couldn't...

7/8/2025 12:21pm On a related note, my favorite part of the race was during Hart's run a spectator was could be heard yelling "LOOK AT THE TIME" and probably some other Warner gold from that classic run.
