1/3/2024 11:49am Tall and lanky is not me haha. It's a good one though, I was surprised, and stoked, when I heard who.

1/2/2024 2:24pm More like I finally have the option of a downhill bike so I want to see what all the hype is about. I am plenty happy with Enduro and from what I've heard internally, contrary to rumours, Enduro isn't going anywhere. But just wait till you see my latest bike, new year new me.

12/31/2023 9:28am While I agree they might not be the best brand of bike out there, WCDH overall winner Matt Walker and junior World Champion Jordan Williams might disagree with your opinion of what a rider can achieve on Saracen bikes.

12/30/2023 5:47am That's all good and well but lets face some facts here - Cube bikes are junk (I worked closely with the brand at a distribution level), the kinematics were average at best and the frame failure rate we saw was out of control, more than 50% of carbon bikes sold came back with cracked frames and they were horrendously slow with turnaround time on replacement frames, always looking for excuses. Saracen is a walmart/whatever brand so no matter the caliber of the rider you'll never get results riding a piece of crap down the hill. Personality or not, Danny Hart...

12/8/2023 12:51pm Lots of love and expectations for Jackson Goldstone in this forum; and he truly deserves it too. But let's not forget that Jordan Williams is also a very talented young rider (won his debut race in elites on a NEW bike), is on a damn good team, and nearly beat Goldstone to the jr overall last year.

11/14/2023 1:39pm it's honestly hilarious that a complete move to e enduro would even been considered. On race day the e bike races are an extreme side show to the actual race, which in turn is a sideshow to the dh/xc races. no racing fan has ever given a shit about e-bike racing, even with the proliferation of ebikes these days

11/5/2023 2:30am I'm pretty certain that Transmission doesn't "know" anything about position of ramp cogs. The system has a stiffer chain, more precise alignment between the derailleur and cassette, more force from the derailleur, and a refined ramp pattern. When you queue up multiple shifts, you immediately hear the bzzt bzzt bzzt of the derailleur moving, then the chain works it's way up/down the cassette. If it knew where the ramps were, you'd click click click, then it would break up the bzzt as gears changed. XTR shifting in my experience is quicker if you time shifts. T-Type (I have on an...

10/13/2023 5:32am Virtually every shop I have ever been in: “We don’t have that at the moment, but we can order it for you.” I can order it too, and it’ll come straight to my house. I’m going to install it myself anyway regardless of where it was purchased. Why would I make a second trip? Complete bikes are the same. I’m going to go over your build with a fine tooth comb, so why wouldn’t I just build it myself from the get-go. I don’t understand people arguing so hard to support brick and mortar just because that is the long...
